A few Words about the clips:
1. This is NOT a crazy russian too much vodka compilation.
2. It's mainly daily situations from a truck's point of view
3. I try to avoid calling pepole idiots and stuff like that. I prefer just the show the different situations and let you be the judge.
4. Dont take it to serious, if you find it interesting thats great, if you can have a laugh thats even better.
5. We all can make misstakes

The camera I use is a Blackvue 650. It is mounted in a Volvo FH V4 from 2015. It measures in at 24 meters with the trailer.

Well we had an incident where a vehicle failed to see a train, flashing lights, ringing bells, the train's sirens and ten cars stopped waiting for the crossing with their brake lights on so I guess some people must have poor eyesight

Don't see the benefit of having "square shaped" side lines rather than a plain line or small diagonaly oriented lines.
Johan Öhgren Welcome to finland. Then you get it how good roads you eventually have all around sweden (Yes i drove 16 years around sweden, i do know the difrences).
Matwor 29 Those side lines are higher then the ordinary lines, when your wheel hits the line your vehicle starts to shake/vibrate. It's a very efficient way to reduce accidents since the unobservant driver gets a very good indication that something is wrong.
Not THAT good if you take into account how much we are paying in taxes. And they do a lot of uneccery stuff like bumps and those little "islands" in the middle of the road whenever there is a crosswalk.. I get it if the road has like 4 lanes but on simple little road?

3:46 - I hate it when people do this. I don't want people pulling over into my lane any closer to me than the distance I'd keep from their bumper if I were driving behind them.
The gold-ish car switched lanes too soon most likely because of rage.
The truck driver didn't switch to the left lane to make it easier for the car to merge. Since he didn't have a reason to.
The car on the other hand could've floored it and passed the truck on the right.
He could also have learned to merge better instead of rage when other drivers doesn't move over.
I'm a pretty new driver, but I distinctly remember my instructor telling me to never switch lanes after passing someone untill you can see their full vehicle in your side mirror. Even with my minor experience I know for a fact he didn't, and if he did, he needs his mirrors adjusted very quickly.
This guy puts up with a lot of shit and does it in such a calm manner that I feel he is the second coming of Jesus Christ

RossOmega3 I'm sure this guy is a perfect driver. Never make mistakes with all the driving he does. Except he could have pulled to the left to let that merging driver on, but why be courteous?
I'm sure he is just posting other mistakes and deleting his own, because people who drive a lot make mistakes and this wasn't 4 minutes of just one car having a bad moment.
I drive a lot and deal with people who are lost, confused; or just stupid all day. I've even had my moments when I misjudge another car distance or speed, it happens. Thank God for all the perfect imbecile out there with nothing better to do.
because if ya move over to allow ..... then the idiots just sit beside you and wont let you move back .
the merging car didnt have right of way
I don't expect trucks to move to the left lane when I'm trying to merge in. Only other cars. You see trucks are slow as shit so I can easily out accelerate them and the only time I have to let them pass is when they have almost passed the on-ramp anyway and it doesn't matter.
Now other cars will be driving my speed and as such are in the way and should move over.
The only problem is idiots in front of me on the on-ramp who are trying to merge at a speed slower than that of a truck.
Especially because here on-ramps are incredibly long and you have plenty of distance to accelerate to a point a truck becomes a non issue. But some of these people seem to try it so slowly that a truck which by all accounts hasn't even reached the on-ramp yet becomes and actual problem as I can't pass the slow guy and they hesitate so much that by the time they do merge the truck is blocking me or even them and we all need to wait for a slow truck to pass everyone.
It's one of those super annoying things in traffic.
That and people trying to overtake trucks at the speed of an ffin truck.
You're not driving a truck for crying out loud.

I love the concrete mixer truck at 0:34. Reminds me at my work I have done till I retired myself. Delivering concrete is the best trucking job ever (in my opinion). I worked 8 month a year and could stay 4 month at home in the Philippines every year.

The runabouts can be confusing if your not from the area. The first year we had one over a 100 wrecks. 18 wheelers turning over.

I live in Québec, Canada and last week I drove like 1800km in US and people are so respectful.. In Canada 0:28 appen ALL the time.. In US never.. I feel more comfy driving in the US than driving in my own country... Weird!!

I can sort'a understand what happened at 4:16 and why. The silver car didn't trust the red car to suddenly pull out and hit him, so he got way over to the left. Then he didn't want to get back in and cut off the big truck, so he stopped and waited. Nice of you to stop and let him back in front of you :-) Safe driving on both of you!

The orange car, he overreacted. Anytime that you get get ahead of a 4-wheeler on an on-ramp, they are gonna be pissed. he should have been expecting it and it should have come as no surprise. Only neophytes would have been surprised by that. Edit: The car beside the road after that, he did good.

People who don';t know the basic rules, peoply who obey them. There's always something going on. A foreigner might have to get used to traffic rules, tho in the EU they're pretty much the same. I don't know why I wrote this, doesn't make sense. But the Clio in the end did blink. That was polite :)

mind me asking. How big are your diesel engines in the trucks there?? here in North America they average 11-16 liter 6 cylinders with about 350 to 600 hp
Its a straight 6 cylinder, 12 liter and 500 hp.

Wait, you indicate left in roundabouts? But you can only exit a roundabout that goes counter-clockwise by turning right? I always indicate right in roundabouts, but turn the indicator on one exit before the one I'm supposed to go through. It's even taught in driving schools. And that being said, I've always wondered why anyone would indicate left in a roundabout. Is it a Swedish thing though?

It's always fun driving in and around Göteborg, I've been there a couple of times as a tourist with and without caravan.
