Trying to fix my horn but only weaving I’ve seen are motorcycle riders. Car and truck are bad but here in Dallas motorcyclists ride like they own the rode, everyone needs to drive or ride better.
Ok, hooked mine up to a multimeter unclipped crimp horn connectors pressed horn barely a flicker of voltage plus when I do press the horn button with crimp connectors on or off the horn lights dim on dash(obvious short) Fuses are fine as is horn 12 volts jumped to it sounds ok. Mines wired into the Rh switch headlight switch as well so now when ever I operate the headlight switch the horn stays on.
My bike has power to original horns that work but are not loud enough. I bought new louder horns 12v that test working but when installed the horn button does not activate horns. I can hear the horns being dampened. Any idea what to look for?
I hooked the multi metre up to the two connectors. Ignition on and pressed the horn. The reading went up slowly to about 1.5v. Thinking broken wire 🤷🏽♂️. Super hard to access though to inspect
I'm just guessing. I took the switch block apart today to try and inspect the horn button connections... The indicator component is in the way so I aborted as I've never taken these things apart
@mricho22 even so? Has the bike crashed or fallen over to damage the switch or wiring? I'm not sure how that could happen on such a young bike. It just does not seem normal for a young bike to have electrical issues like you are saying.
Straight to the point and easy to understand. Thanks!

@markseniuk99 You bought wrong horn for your application
Reverse the wiring to the horn. Try your original one again. Or purchase an original one if you think yours is damaged.
maybe your bikes battery is weak. the horn should be fine. they either work or they don't.
