Squid, this was a great video because of 2 simple but very ingenious solutions you presented. The wooden dowel thing is genius and 2-slidng the whole actuator assembly out the back so you don't have to disconnect brake lines makes this so much easier. No need to bleed the lines. Thanks for posting this. Those who gave this video a thumbs down have no idea how much of a game changer those 2 simple pieces of advice are .
Thank you very much for your comment. This was my first or second DiY video so i was a little nervous when it came down to explaining and didn't edit. I mainly post videos to help people out there who are in the same position as me. Sometimes people are not mechanically inclined so it might be a little of a challenge. It was a lot easy than it looked. Hope it helped out. Thanks!
Great video. My trailer does not have a swing away. This means my casing slid forward. Also found routing of emergency cable around rear post worked best by removing post held by a bolt.
Clever tips using the dowels to keep the wheels in place and sliding the actuator out the back (if possible) to avoid disconnecting the brake line. Be sure to put new clips on the pins when replacing.

Take your time, record and take photos if you have too. Good luck bud.
@@MrDodgerblu82 I have it replaced with no prob. 🤙 Dowels make reassembling so easy. Thanks again! I've saved at least $150 by doing it myself.
