I was in ladhak this winter and it was amazing, less tourists, beautiful semi frozen rivers, after acclimatization we even managed a 200km bike ride with proper gear and careful riding especially around the snow patches. No doubt winters is a different experience which i would definitely recommend.

I have been in for 2 months in the last 2 years and I can say that I have walked all the roads, streets and shortcuts in Leh. This is how I have come to learn about the people and culture of the town. This is something that could be again promoted among tourists so that there is less stress on road traffic and the town can be pollution free.
Wonderful, all the hotels and guesthouses have their own charm. And on the slopes it looked just like here in Switzerland. Thank you very much for your recommendations, who knows, maybe one day I'll stay in one of the accommodations. Juleh.
