At time 8:07 y'all picked up a silver putter. A close and dear friend had a putter very similar but in copper or bronze. He was the worst technique putter, but he was one of the best putters I've had the pleasure of playing with and against. RIP Paul

You skipped past the John Letters Trilogy irons but if you see the MM (Master Model) prototypes you should pick them up, nice forging from an old Scottish club maker, sadly no longer around, I used to go to the factory 10 miles from here and get some great deals

Unfortunately, there is a law in the UK that prevents a person knowingly buy something well below it's value if the buyer knows it's worth a lot more. I think the late great Ronnie Barker fell foul to this when dealing in antiques. Ho Hum, keep up the good work. Not sure if the law applies to Garage/Boot sales tho?
A friend bought a set of hickory clubs in an auction , left at a guest house in the 1920's by Francis Ouimet as a present for the hosts . He ran a 2nd hard shop in Leith , an eager buyer spotted them and haggled the junior sales assistant down from $5000 to 200 GBP saying it must be a mistake , on the pricing , without checking with the owner the junior sold the clubs . EPIC FAIL , full set of matching US open champions clubs in original bag with balls tees etc. 200 . Probably worth $50000 today easily .
Luckiest I ever got was when I bought like 8 sets of clubs with bags for $80 and one of the sets were a set of BC pings. Those alone paid for all the clubs twice over. Also had a few sets of ping eye 2's. Was pleasantly pleased. 😅 keep up the good videos.
I think once she mentioned how there were tees in the bag to justify the potential value that you could see she didn't know the value of the clubs. Unless of course there was maybe 500-1000+ tees in the bag 😁.
I wonder if some of these people who have no idea what they have is because the clubs were stolen. I had my whole bag with clubs stolen while I went to the bar, the clubs were in a rack right outside of the bar with a huge window so you could see your clubs, but got stolen anyways. There after I took my clubs inside the bar and put them right next to me. Still have a recurring dream, that when I go to the bag rack my clubs are gone.
