- This was epic. 18 months on our own, non professionals restoring an abandoned house. For under 40k. Really was a ruin but here in the Algarve it’s satisfying to know we gave an old traditional rural village house a new lease of life. Thanks for all your support along the way. Look out for the next video - The courtyard.

I just bought a 450 year old medieval stone house in southern Italy and spent two years renovating it. I had a top-notch crew: architect, builder, plumber, electrician, stone mason, cabinet maker, iron monger (for balcony railings and exterior security gates), but you two are all that poured into just two people!! Great job!
can you send me photos or have you uploaded it to any youtube channel
@@KimJongUn-ub7pz My RUclips channel is about Cuban music, not my personal life, sorry. I prefer to keep pictures of my house private.

Can you tell us the price please?
I don’t think I’ve ever watched such back breaking work done by such a minimal crew. You guys are amazing craftsmen and I loved watching this.
I love hard work. I could watch it all day.
I;m trying to get my head around how many buckets of concrete they filled and lifted, thousands! Awesome craftsmanship!
that’s the power of being an older british person
I am in total awe 😮. I am sure that we only saw a very small part of what you actually went through. Absolutely stunning
Big questions; What did you pay for it? How much did you have to pour into it? What is it's value now?
As a swedish carpenter i am impressed with that woodwork; the almost over engineered stud work (is that correct, the wood skeleton so to speak). Im so used to cry a little when watching americans and others building with bad thin lumber and sub par building codes. But this was strong, sturdy and exact to the fraction of an inch. It warms my old woodworkers heart!
I am one of those Americans, (Utah USA), and I would love to hear more opinions about the "sub-par" building codes that you mentioned. I am not angry or upset. I just want to hear about the perceptions you have on this topic. These gentlemen are busting their tails to do this day ting work and I am enjoying their own commentary and hope they add more. Thanks all.
@@davidwbybee3450 There is too much to list and i dont have insight in everything. But as a european i can mention the lack of residual current device, something that has been standard here for ages. Outer walls without vapor barrier. Substandard codes for water barrier in bathrooms. Use of different sub standard fiber boards like masonite. Lack of proper insulated 2 or 3 sheet glas windows. Bad sub standard house foundation. In sweden most foundations are rebar concrete poured on a exact dug out pit with gravel and thick styrofoam. In the u.s, even in cold states with proper winter, i see just a patch of untreated dirt, some cinderblocks on that and basic exposed wood studs layed on the cinder blocks. Again there is so much and im not a native english speaker so i cant expalain it all very well.
Back when they didnt cut in materials
@@lazlo09weird, where I live (in Massachusetts US) foundations of new houses seem to be all poured concrete and rebar, and a lot of the other thing you’re mentioning aren’t happening often.
@@braydentoth8442 America is like 50 european countries so i understand that houses are not bad everywhere and im sure it depends on the area they are built. Like poor area equals simple houses. It will be a ruin again, when the junkies and crackheads, that roam and infest the countryside, will set there eyes on this property. More than 30% of the portugese people already leaved Portugal ... why should they stay ?!
My goodness you forget how bad it was. You three have done the most amazing job and brought back to life that house. Otherwise it would have just collapsed. Well done 😁😁😁

I'm from the Algarve, now renovating an old house in the UK. You done a great job there and keeping the Algarve identity... Hats off.
Awesome! Thank you!
It isn't just the work you did but the artistry with which you did it that has so impressed me! I'm a 78 yr old lady in Texas who used to remodel homes. Finding people to do the work wasn't difficult but finding people who CARED about the QUALITY of their work became harder and harder. The older craftsmen cared. But the young people seemed to have lost any pride in their skill. It was all about the paycheck. The result was a loss of joy in the work for everyone on the project. Watching your video I am filled with joy, excitement, and pride for the work YOU are doing.! Oh how BEAUTIFUL IT IS on so many levels!!!!!

You restored homes? You are my hero. I tried it once, it was an 1846 farm house, it started as an act of love and admiration, it turned out to be a headache that lasted for nearly 2 years. Sadly, I made money on the flip. So of course I tried it again.
That experience was not near as prolonged as the first...but I 100% FELT your comment "no pride in their work...only there for the pay check..." (Which they were paid quite substantially)
Never ever have I thought of doing it again.
Of course I've aged out now.

@@KTW590I think it was important to them to keep and use as much of the original structure, hence no bulldozing.

My goal and dream is to move to Portugal and do the same thing as these amazing gentlemen. When I do, I will also keep and use as much of the original structure as possible.
IMO it’s important to keep in line with the traditions of construction & craftsmanship of Portugal, 🇵🇹and of course the end result.

i bought an older brick house coupke years ago.. thinking i would renovate it like these guys .. after long assessment of the cost over labor ,time , and how many walls i would have to tear down.. i decided to build from foundation.. non of the less, i can apreciate their amazing attitude and skill
I'm so conflicted here. On one hand as an architect and someone who has also "saved" an old stone house in Eastern Spain I applaud the initiative. However, seeing those fake roof tile panels and watching that brick floor being lifted and not put back, my nutsack shrieks in horror.
Same here. Hubby has done a few similar projects in the Algarve. We are now watching this from Australia, and he kept saying "I would have saved this and that, especially the roof and floor tiles"
I think the SIPS roof is a brilliant idea. Just sad it shows no attempt at color variation and character.
I felt exactly the same way. They worked so hard on so many things. Then, to see laminate wood floors and cheap looking cabinets, I was completely disappointed. They removed all the character I thought they would keep, like the old wooden ceiling beams and arches.
As an architect myself, I absolutely agree. The exact same thought came to mind when I saw them knocking the arch down and ripping out the floor and filling it over. I guess the underground plumbing put paid to any chance of saving the floor, not sure the floor tiles would have come off in whole pieces. The roof tiles could have been used too, they spent so much time doing the job, a little more would not have hurt. He mentioned a deadline and he did away with the local help, so I guess that left him with a very tight schedule, he probably opted for quick fixes as a result.
Sexy.
beautiful beautiful job! I just can't help but cry for the original terracotta tile floor. It was magnificent
Was a shame but got to do what you can with the tight budget. maybe you’ll like what I do to my home.
A massive undertaking, and you few guys, when you discovered the scale of the work required, unlike most mortals, who would have run away, stuck with it! A beautiful job and something old now lives again. Thank you for sharing this huge job, and for the long effort recording, editing and posting. We all appreciate your hard work. Thanks again!
Just what I was thinking. The time frame that the two of you were initially giving yourself seemed like a pipe dream to me.especially after watching my daughter and husband turn a property that had been a factory/ machine shop into a 2 story 50× 100 + house. Maybe I would think differently if I were 40 or 50 years younger...lol
All my previous house were in similar condition, they were all I could afford. These buildings are a simple construction once you can see passed the mess and I think the key is to put down on paper how you want it to look, then don’t give up. We also got advice on materials etc by pros to make sure we were doing it right. The videoing and editing was a full time job in itself but I’m grateful I had the opportunity to share it as I am with my home starting now.
I've watched every episode of your channel and can't believe it was 18 months purely working on the house in the village. What a fantastic achievement and a beautiful end result. Can't wait to see you working on your own home in the future.
Nice, well done 👍
Beautiful! I love that you left some of the doorways and doors sanded and didn't repaint them. That's a nice touch when everything else looks so clean and finished.
What an incredible transformation of the house. You guys are amazing workers, so, so talented. Congratulations.
I am an engineering technologist with 46 years of experience, I watched your video from a critical perspective and loved the perfection in your work.
I know that those who built this house for the first time did not have such modern tools, they used simple tools, and those who completed this house must have been as happy as you.
I stumbled across this video today (I’m a 29 year old Portuguese woman living in Northern Ireland) and I have absolutely no idea about construction or anything, but I have to say that I found this video so satisfying to watch and can’t believe the amount of work you guys put into this! I’m so impressed. Not only with the finished result, but you managed to film and edit the whole process. Thanks so much for sharing and apparently peaking a new interest for me. Have to say I’ve learned a lot of new things from watching this and will be watching your other videos. 😊
Hello ! May Allah protect and guide you to his light and happiness in this life and the hereafter, God bless, Ameen. Excuse me for giving a little presentation of Islam, because it is very misunderstood nowadays, especially on those « Antichrist's » times, where media and politics are mixed to distort history and truth. Thank you very much for your time.
Islam is an arabic word that means the Surrender to the One and Only God, our Creator, Protector, Provider, who gives us life and all that we have, we are safe and sound by his will and grace, we are His and to Him we return, and we have to thank him in this trial life by submitting to him by our free will, or later in the Day of judgment when it's too late to save our own skin. Islam was the original Religion descended to earth from heaven with Adam and Eve (peace and blessing be upon them) in the beginning of humanity. and was passed to people with the succession of the 124 000 prophets and 315 messengers of God to all nations and civilizations since, passing by Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Ismaël, Joseph, Moses, Aaron, Joshua, David, Solomon and Jesus (Peace and blessing be upon them) during the history of mankind, the last replaces and completes the previous, until the succession of the last messenger of God fourteen centuries ago, Muhammad (Peace and blessing be upon him) to complete the noble morals of all mankind, to bring humans and jinns out of darkness into light, and to purify people's religion and belief from corruption and polytheism, and return it to purity and true monotheism, like it was in the times of the prophets (Peace and blessing be upon them).
Many Religions that we know nowadays, at their beginning were true and under Islam, initiated by one of the prophets of God, but their original teachings, history and scriptures have been corrupted over time with falsification and polytheism, or lost and replaced with false ones. That's why Islam is the only Religion accepted by God nowadays, which consists in bearing witness that there is no god besides Allah (God in Aramaic, the original language of Jesus and the Gospel), and that Muhammad is His servant and messenger, just like Jesus and Moses and others are His servants and messengers. Never a messenger of God said he was God or literally son of God, it was the people after him who changed the words of God and corrupted the Religion. God is unique and absolute, He does not need to have a family and sons or to associate anyone else with His kingdom, He can simply create whatever He wants, everything belongs to Him, and to Him everything will return. Allah said in Surah Al-Mu’minun : “God has never begotten a son, nor is there any god besides Him. Otherwise, each god would have taken away what it has created, and some of them would have gained supremacy over others. Glory be to God, far beyond what they describe. The Knower of the hidden and the manifest. He is exalted, far above what they associate. (91-92 / Translated by ITANI).
Allah means the one and only God, the God of all prophets and creatures, the creator of the universe and mankind, and the Master of the Day of judgment, where our destiny, Hell or Paradise, is decided based on our faith and deeds in this trial life, and above all, Allah's mercy.
Allah said in Surah Al-Ikhlas : In the name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful.
Say, “He is God, the One. God, the Absolute. He begets not, nor was He begotten. And there is none comparable to Him.” (1-4 / Translated by ITANI).
Allah said in Surah An-Nisa : O FOLLOWERS of the Gospel! Do not overstep the bounds [of truth] in your religious beliefs, and do not say of God anything but the truth. The Christ Jesus, son of Mary, was but God's Apostle - [the fulfilment of] His promise which He had conveyed unto Mary - and a soul created by Him. Believe, then, in God and His apostles, and do not say, "[God is] a trinity". Desist [from this assertion] for your own good. God is but One God; utterly remote is He, in His glory, from having a son: unto Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on earth; and none is as worthy of trust as God. Never did the Christ feel too proud to be God's servant, nor do the angels who are near unto Him. And those who feel too proud to serve Him and glory in their arrogance [should know that on Judgment Day] He will gather them all unto Himself: (171-172 / Translated by Muhammad Asad).
Allah the Most Merciful said in Surah Ali-Imran : Behold, the only [true] religion in the sight of God is [man's] self-surrender unto Him; and those who were vouchsafed revelation aforetime took, out of mutual jealousy, to divergent views [on this point] only after knowledge [thereof] had come unto them. But as for him who denies the truth of God's messages - behold, God is swift in reckoning!
Thus, [O Prophet,] if they argue with thee, say, "I have surrendered my whole being unto God, and [so have] all who follow me!" - and ask those who have been vouchsafed revelation aforetime, as well as all unlettered people, "Have you [too] surrendered yourselves unto Him?" And if they surrender themselves unto Him, they are on the right path; but if they turn away - behold, thy duty is no more than to deliver the message: for God sees all that is in [the hearts of] His creatures.
Verily, as for those who deny the truth of God's messages, and slay the prophets against all right, and slay people who enjoin equity - announce unto them a grievous chastisement.
It is they whose works shall come to nought both in this world and in the life to come; and they shall have none to succour them.
(19-22 / Translated by Muhammad Asad)..
God said : Say, “We believe in Allah, and in what was revealed to us, and in what was revealed to Abraham, and Ishmael, and Isaac, and Jacob, and the Patriarchs, and in what was given to Moses and Jesus, and in what was given to the prophets from their Lord. We do not differentiate between any of them. And to Him, we surrender.”
(2:136 / Translated by Community)

I have heard it is very cheap to live there. Is this true? If so, how cheap, and what percent of population speaks English? Are they welcoming to Americans?
@@LisaRL70I’m not sure in comparison to America, but it depends on what your career is. Minimum wage is significantly lower in Portugal than it is in the UK, although groceries and rent is cheaper. If you don’t work a minimum wage job you would be okay, but probably still learn less. I guess it evens out with everything else being cheaper. I am extremely impressed with all aspects of the entire project. But I have to call out the level of physical fitness you both displayed throughout, particularly the concrete bucket transfer. You all are not young any more, but you did us old(er) geezers proud. I am not sure how many of us could have lasted one day on that job let alone so many months. Yep, here in Portugal there are many abandoned houses which used to be a penny before investors started coming here.. You were able to buy them for around 2,2 to 5 thousands euros if they were in that state. However, it needs extra money to make improvements in the houses.. There is a good side of this that investors coming here do make the prices per m2 increase but, also, normally they rebuild and rent the properties and with so many people coming to Portugal nowadays, we do need more rentable houses.. So, great job, guys!
The contract to purchase must include a restriction on the return on investment (just like in Japan). Without it, vultures with money will swoop down on these historical homes and make the prices go sky high.
@@rajoschannel4338not a historical home. I set out to sell to locals but they aren’t interested in rural areas. Prices go up because that’s the way the world is. No individuals fault. You won't believe how stiff l was after watching this! So impressed by your precision and attention to detail - made me think of the builders who repaired Windsor Castle. Well done! 🎉
You guys looked as though you were virtually dependent upon your natural instinct , your cognitive abilities and judgement in approaching what you felt was needed to create your dream. And this borne less from the professional requirements that many others would demand but more from your amazingly creative side. The entire process was a joy to watch, so very well done lads!
Having to learn everything at a later age it really had to be something you enjoy. That helps you learn quicker and can’t beat just doing it and changing if a mistake was made. Coming from a design background really helped visualise it and we went round in circles going through all the options fairly early on and sticking to it but still being flexible. Ridiculously tight budget also helps keep you on track.
It’s amazing to see the changes you made in that place. You should be proud of it.
I can’t imagine how beautiful your farm is going to be when it’s all fixed up too.
Well done and congratulations to you and your brother.
Oooh making a coffee for this one 😊
You certainly are the best contractor builder. You guys have done an awesome job awesome. And very knowledgeable with everything you could think to keep it safe and sound. And strong you guys are Extremely talented.
You guy's are way above the average do it your-selfers. In fact you equal and excel many professionals I have worked with. I really enjoyed this video renovation. I am 70 now but during my career as a commercial project manager I oversaw millions of dollars of this kind of work. Before managing I was a hand's on contractor that mastered every trade as you guys have done. Your masonry and stucco skills are better than mine but I built the duplex my wife and I live in by myself hiring a mere $2,000 in helper labor. Keep up the good work. Many of us love watching you! Guy in Columbia Mississippi
Hi Andy. Very satisfizo to see rhe village house project, from derelict building to beautiful home.. Congratulations! Can't wait to see your own house's transformation.
What!? Non professionals? That's hard to believe! You did such great work.
Absolutely fascinating. A completely different viewing experience for me, in that the renovation was mostly a restoration. Very well done.
If I hadn't seen this with my own two eyes...You guys are gifted and your work is the best I've ever seen. Two Men plus wife/sister in law did the job of a whole crew. Great job!!!!
Amazing!
I thought it was a teardown. The three of you, performed miracles.
I'm sure you're enjoying a bit downtime before "you sort it out," your home project.
Amazing Job! As a Portuguese, I thank you for giving life once more to these beautiful home! They deserve it!
And real estate prices increase in your country because of these people.
are you sure??????????
@@JM-mj5wu stupid portuguese governement ....
@@JM-mj5wu Because of people that turn run down properties into worthwhile homes? Fuck are you saying bro.
@@mojebi3804yes. That’s exactly how it works. People come in and renovate and then others come too. Soon the area looks better and your gooberment raises taxes on everyone else forcing out poorer families so all the areas become for elite and you and your kind have nowhere to go. Better recognize and ask somebody.
GREAT JOB. John Ruskin said that 'time' is one of the seven lamps of architecture and that the romance of a project is in all the tooling marks of a craftsmen. Enjoyed the video very much thanks for sharing.
The physical labor was daunting and painstaking removing all the roofing tiles, tearing down walls/bending rebar, carrying concrete buckets up scaffolding. It's great to see real men in action. Oh if only you men could teach the builders in Georgia, USA how to use levels and plumb lines. It is a pleasure watching perfection in the making.
My back isn’t very happy with me, think I looked at it as more of a work out which made it a lot easier.
I never thought it possible to rehabilitate that property into what you created. Truly amazing.
I'm glad you included that footage of Bert. He was lucky to be able to spend a happy lifetime with you.
As a retired builder of 40 years and 'jack of all trades' myself... and, after seeing just about anything in the trades... my hat is off to you and your partner for accomplishing the near impossible. I am thoroughly impressed, particularly at your use of the age old "Dot and Screed" method in leveling the floor. And the vision you had, it all starts there, which is something many would overlook. Job well done!
Thank you. Not everyone shares that so I’ll take it when I can. Thanks for watching and understanding how easy it isn’t 👍
Nonstop watched your video. What a transformation that was by itself a dopamine level 100. So much talent and patience what great work and creation there, wow! My biggest compliments❤
WHAT I MOSTLY LOVE ABOUT THESE 2 BROTHERS IS THAT THEY'RE "PERFECTIONISTS", AND THESE ARE THE KIND OF INDIVIDUALS YOU'D WANT BUILDING OR REMODELING YOUR HOME! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼!!!
(Every little thing is done to perfection 💎)
AND THEY LOVE WHAT THEY DO!!!
👑👑
Its not perfect at all.If you look entrance where floor is same level as outside ground-in rain(there allot rain in some seasons)water will flood inside.Dont have patience to look full video but this show uncompetency
It is incompetence, not uncompetance and even if what Doberman says is correct, I am not a builder so I do not know , the work completed with such love and care is remarkable. I am very impressed. Doing the job with a sibling sharing time and effort is commendable and I am hoping that they feel proud of what they have accomplished, rather than sitting down, doing a dead end job and criticising others for being hardworking, doing a job where they achieve satisfaction.
@@valerielane1066don’t worry there’s always someone finding fault. Part of being a youtuber I’ve come to expect. However he was wrong, the floor is higher and the drainage out the front slopes away so water runs directly into the drains. If he’d asked I could’ve told him but people do like to be judge, jury and executioner based on no facts. Thanks for watching.
I don't know how this video ended up in my feed, but it is captivating to watch all the hard work. I'm in awe of you guys.
I am a residential contractor in Washington, excellent work, what a beautiful home.
Spot on! Beautiful work! I enjoyed watching with not a lot of talking ... Absolutely Beautiful!
Thank you

I just pray you guys made a huge profit on this Reno. Excellent !!
Things aren't always about money though but it's nice if they have.
Not retiring anytime soon…. If ever. But I’m proud of what we did 👍
Unfreaking believable. I am 65 and a woman, who has done a LOT of home repair and renovation, but nothing at all like this. So impressed with you guys. Amazing job.

Great job, whew the work! Looks like it’ll stand another 450 years!
Amazingly beautiful. To think all that work in just 18 months, remarkable.
TRULY IMPRESSIVE
Being Swedish I feel extremely lucky...Wood is our main material. It builds fast. It is forgiving.
Working with concrete and plastering is just unforgiving and extremely hard.
Hats off for you, Andrew, and your brother.
P.S I hate plastering D.S
I watched the whole thing in one sitting …and it was captivating! Well done breathing a whole new life into an old ruin. Like you said, that’ll be good for decades!
The craftsmanship that went into this is stellar. Absolutely AMAZING work. Quite fascinating to watch. STUNNING finished product!
The house looks so happy and refreshed at the end... I love the portuguese tiles, and my only regret would be that you didn't keep the ceiling arch in the kitchen, an arch being the door to happiness in our mediterranian culture. That being said, you guys did a titanic work, congratulations!
The arches gave a character .oh well
i don't know anything but what i like. I liked the arch at the kitchen. And i like a bathtub. But Beautiful work overall.
He mentioned about it too low. To get more headroom, I would have dug into the dirt instead.
I live in the Philippines and 3 years ago we bought a house to renovate. Frankly I would never have been able to pay for a team as you guys, even here in this country. And that is because you took meticulously care of every detail which takes heaps of time. Here in the Philippines detail is a foreign word which makes that everything looks good from far, but is far from good. Bravo, well done!
Headed there to do the same as you.
Far from good 😂I can relate.
Love to live in that neighbourhood it looks so quiet & peaceful best place to retire.
@@377499 Success with it..!
@@SunshineBlueskyWhitesand I thought the same, that's when renovators aren't knocking walls next door!
The shots of the sky against the finished roof were especially beautiful.
You either see your renovation as a labour of love or a trial of perseverance but hopefully a big sense of achievement. Well done and sure that what you learnt you will apply some of it to your own house. It was an eye opener to see how dilapidated the house was and how someone could let a house get to that state. The inheritance laws are so rigid in Portugal that if a couple pass away, the stars must line up precisely and all children agree if there are children involved as if not, the legal system grinds slowly. Good luck with your own place and look forward to the videos.
What a transformation. The paint work was skilfully executed. Looks great. Love the railings. I can’t stop watching. You guys are incredible. . 👍👏👏
I can't believe the hard work you put into this gorgeous house. You are amazing, I have so much respect for your stamina and expertise in all phases of the job. The hand painting of the trim around the windows and doors....OMG, I have no words....brillant!
Don’t know how I got into watching this, but I could not stop. I just have to see how it turned out. You two have an amazing teamwork and I’m glad there’s woman cheering you on and making sure you’re fed and getting enough fuel for such a heavy manual labor. Good job!
Same here 😂
"im glad theres women cheering you on and feeding you"! said women are performing the heavy manual labor. and theres no break scenes with food or snacks, let alone any served by women. please be less weird.
Oh my gosh...I never comment on these videos, but I just have to say that this is an incredible transformation! There are so many times in the video where I thought..."never mind..." but then you just kept on going with masterful workmanship. Congratulations on coming out on the other side. Simply splendid work. I will follow you anywhere...P.S. the fact that you didn't spend all the time with voiceover work was a really good choice. You told me what I needed to know and stayed quiet, and I appreciate it!
Just one word...FANTASTIC...! YOU DID A GREAT, GREAT JOB....!
Amazing result. Ive leant a lot and really enjoyed watching all of it. Not having commentary all the time worked well for me.
I’m living in Canada , I want to move to Portugal next year, especially after watching this video . Great renovation job. You guys are so awesome . I’m an industrial electrician, and a medical professional. I’ve done many renovations, and I know the toll they each take on the body . 👏👍
This was the most rewarding start-to-finish video I’ve ever watched! You all did a remarkable job with the construction, and you, with the editing. It looks fabulous!
Great job!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
As a design I like more outer floor plan and more Historical features…
I really like that you guys managed to keep some of the personality of the original house. It can be really hard to do that while remodeling such an old house that’s in complete ruin like that. But you can still see glimpses of the original house in your design. And I really like that. It’s always so sad to see people completely destroy a house and take away its personality in the name of “modernism”. And while you did completely redo the house (because it had to be done, honestly), it didn’t completely lose all of charm and wonder. That being said, this was an awesome video. I thought it would become tedious after a while, but I ended up watching the entire thing in one sitting. I’ll definitely be watching more!
I share this sentiment. I thought it will be a bore to look at men hauling heavy boards without a pulley. 😊
For a girl who's idea of fun is look at old construction works, I thoroughly enjoyed your video.
And, as an enthusiast for authentic architectural integrity, i love how your house restoration/ renovation turned out.
Now that i am retired and recovering from cancer, it gives me great satisfaction watching others do the heavy lifting.
Worked since i was 15 in and out of the buisness. What a great job you all did.
If you ever do another feel free to drop me a line, i’d love to get on the tools again. Jack of all, master of none. 👍
Wishing you continued improved health and being able to do the things you love
Great job! I'm from the Algarve and love our regional architecture, so it's incredibly frustrating to see so many typical Algarvean buildings in such a state of disrepair. What you did was fantastic!
I am blown away! Happened by chance to see this video when putting on shows for my children. 2mins in, I was invested in the video! The detail of the work is incredible and an absolute pleasure to watch! You guys are artists!
This is simply incredible. So much hard work and skill. Thank you for showing us the process. Hope you get a great price for this place!
Non professionals?! All of you did a very professional job. I really enjoyed watching this video. usually, I get bored with start-to-finish videos, but this one was very captivating. Thank you.
A truly inspirational video. Most people including myself would have walked away at the first sight of this abandoned ruin as a horrendously impossible task. Instead you had the vision, drive, perseverance and tenacity , not to mention the extreme hard work in you to realise your vision. Hats off to that. Originally when I saw the length of the video, I was unsure if I could sit through its entirety. I decided to watch it anyway for just a few minutes. Somehow, I was hooked onto it and stayed glued to the screen right to the end.
