Drinking Water "Genga" (For My Next Animation)

    This is my "原画 (genga)" showcasing what I'm working on for my next animation. It's very short, but it'll still take a lot of time considering how much detail I'm trying to add to it, mostly to challenge myself at trying to imitate a style similar to Kyoto Animation's works, which are of high quality.

      I'm not quite sure if that's really the case since it varies from studio to studio, I'm merely doing what feels like the right approach for me

    how long did it take you to get to this stage of the animation?

      A while, at least 10+ hours or so just to do the sketch and lineart, then possibly another 5 hours or so to do the highlight and shadow guidelines
