Of course man! Do you think I would give bad lines?! Also, if Rapport 2750 and Sedlak who used to be 2600 don’t sound serious, then, I don’t know what to say…
One of the best treatments of how the stonewall can crush the Catalan. Those players hate being attacked like their simple plan and edge, then Rapport shows them the problems with their kingside using space. Amazing video and thank you Butcher for always pushing new and exciting ideas!
Then hype it with trash talk and cool intros like a boxing match and advertise it on both channels. It would be like Tal vs Botvinnik but with cool movie like intros and get the other channels like Chess Bro, Botez sisters, Cramling, Eric Rosen etc to hype it up so everybody will know to watch! Think it would be history in the making. But make it over the board with Simon Williams and Dany Rench giving commentary. I haaaaaave a dream!
Is it possible to achieve these positions if White delays Nf3 and instead plays Nc3? It would seem White’s control of e4 prevents Ne4-f5. Sorry for the late comment, only just thought of this now.
I've grown with the catalan as a chess player and strived to find creative ways to use my pawns, like h4 h5, c5 as in the Qb6 london endgames, and in these situations I often find myself playing f3.
So I have a tournament in November that I want to win badly. Here is my situation: I open with e4 but I am not confident in playing against the theory heavy sicilian, e5 and those weird moves which make you uncomfortable like g6,b6 the pirc etc. I can either try and learn all of these in 1 and a half months, but I don't think it would help me very much as the opening is over quickly and I haven't spent the time improving my actual game. Instead, I think this approach is better: I play 1.f4 and aim for a reverse dutch to reduce the theory I need to study. I can study the dutch in depth over this time and all the middlegame plans, so I can play with white and vs 1.d4 with lots of confidence. What do you think?
No, without g3, Bf8 belongs to d6 in the stonewall. The point of Be7, to compare with Bd6, that you can more easily challenge the Bf4-variations. Funny is, that in some of the Be7 variations you play then Bd6, because d6 is the natural placement for the bishop in this pawnstructure
Mio!! Heck yeah buddy
I'm going to play an open blitz tournament with IMs and GMs should I play this variant?

Come to Greece, we gonna go fishing and for some drinks...not kidding, dead serious...
Thanks for the invitation! I like Greece, but this year Egypt and Spain were my picks 😉
@@MiodragPerunovicOfficial There is nothing like souvlaki and some ouzo if you know what I mean....
Ba3 is effective against the Stonewall with Bd6, but in this setup Be7-Bf6 is a nice maneuver against a Kingside Fianchetto.
Good point my dear Theo! You made a good comment, you are an old Dutch master 💪

Can you do some content on the leningrad and classical Dutch from blacks point of view?
+1. whatever dutch system that Coach Mio recommends. A lot of Dutch instructionals are a bit haphazard.
Great video Mio! One of the best games with this system is Blagojevic vs Sedlak.😊
And I forgot to show it 🤦♂️
And Sedlak and I even prepared it together! 😂
@@MiodragPerunovicOfficial hahaha 😂
Can you make a video on how to play against czech benoni. there is literally no video about it on youtube

In candidates Salimova vs Koneru this line was played coach
Olala! Let me check!
Finally a line that can crush the Catalan...the other london....
Your rating can not be higher than like 1400
I missed your lessons! Wellcome back.
Thanks David! Lets get back to shape 💪
Good to see you big mio,i love playing the leningrad dutch and other off beat non main line opeinings....
Nice ideas , your Channel is one of the best ....
Welcome to the channel! 👍
Awesome Big Mio! I have been wanting some ideas vs Catalan. Everyone is playing it. So much to unpack here.
I'll echo this!
If they go Bg2 and then Nc3 instead of Nf3 then it's not the same thing right?
thanx again for your ever valuable comments.
Good stuff and ideas. I enjoy it. Thanks
Cheers 🥂

It is not possible though…
Hi Mio, Is there a rule of thumb for when to play g5 followed by f4 to break the fianchetto?
I don’t know for such rule 🤷♂️
Hi Mio, could you make a video teaching us how to play the QID as Black to battle against white? would greatly appreciate it!
Good idea 👍
Thank you for this broadcast coach miodrag 👍🏼😁
Thank you Jimmy my big bro 😎
I have been playing "modern" stonewall for a while , im excited to try this Ultra-Modern approach... thx Mio
Thanks a lot buddy for your donation ❤️ I appreciate it! 👍

What do I do during reverse spinning in chess?
Can you upload a full course on this topic?😍
Can I play this in a classical tournament?
Of course you can! Few of my friends GMs used it and won their games with it! GM Sedlak for example
Thanks for the quick reply, okay I'll try it out in the tournament I am playing in November and let you know how much I butchered my opponent! :D

Interesting point about the dutch being a difficult opening to face! I will try this, thanks for the video and your expertise!
Thanks again. You’re the best.
You’re welcome ☺️
why are u callin this ultramodern?
Because of Be7 and Ne4 and mainly attacks by Black without castling, usually traditional set up was way less ambitious!
This system also applies without the white fianchetto I guess............
You are guessing wrong 😑
