    Hey so I did mine just yesterday, I cannot recall the orientation of the shift linkage could you refresh me please. thanks, it is not clicking into reverse, should it be? while not running? Thanks.

    There is a bottom plastic washer and a top plastic washer missing

    What do you think would cause my engine to piss fine at idle but with higher rpms it stops pissing and over heats. I just replaced the whole water pump and impellar and never had that problem until i did that

      You didn’t seat the little metal key correctly?

      @@74nova36 i figured out the problem. I never greased the impellar and its housing. I belive it got burnt up inside. Bought a new kit greased it up this time and so far its running perfectly

    Could u show me where the water comes out on the top side? i cant figure it out on mine

      If you are standing behind the boat, looking at the rearend of the outboard. There is a nipple on the right side, just below the hood. If you remove the hood you should see a rubber hose attached to the inside of that nipple. That nipple is the “telltail”. That’s not where all the water comes out but if no water comes out the telltail something is wrong.
