The plaque you have is a ‘death plaque’. We had one for my great great uncle who was killed at Vimy Ridge. The British government sent that to relatives of those who were killed in the war

Hello from Moscow again Mart' what you had in your pinkies at around 05:26 was a WW1 death plaque, made in memory of the nearest and dearest that fell, good condition worth around 100 Euros to a collector.........btw tell Gary to slow down will you, his enthusiasm is overshadowing your efforts !!! :-))))))))))))))

Some people just worry too much about everybody else. On a side note paint stripper is not as good strong as it used to be unless you buy the proper stuff which isn't cheap.

I love your banters m8, reminds me of happier times back in South London where we were always ducking and diving wordwise in the ol' convo's and having a laugh. I carried it on with me daughters and always winding 'em up as the locals here in Daaarset are a little temperamental and don't get the whole London talking thing :) I was a nutter on the markets too whether I am doing the fruit and veg for a mate's stall down Dagenham Dock and putting a blush on the old dears faces when I suggest they buy a cucumber to when I was selling me trainers and giving it large to the punters lol Them was happy days, just me and my LWB twin wheel transit, always overloaded and did hundreds of miles a week, shifting three ton off and then back on late in the day and I was sooooo bloody fit then I lost the business thanks to a missus who didn't understand you actually had to pay your wholesalers, the tax man, the insurance man etc and she milked the bloody lot dry and I sodded off back to South London to start again with the 2nd hand motors like the £20 Cortina's from Deptford Auctions were always good for a punt.

Martin, Enjoy your set up, the banter is great. I'd say that there isn't much that you would not attempt. As previously written regarding the Death Plaque. Its the 1914- 18, Memorial Plaque. It should be treated with the highest respect. It represents a falling soldier. It commemorates service of personnel who died during the first world war. 1,360,000 plaques were issued. Martin, not sure what mods you have in mind for the suction system on the sand blaster but I have the smaller desk unit and it never worked proper so I watched a lot of the harbour fright media cabinet mods on you tube and modified mine using parts from home base and B and Q, you can also buy the bit on ebay see link, it is much better taking the media from the bottom than the inside.
