      Kurt, will you be out of a job when the Chevy Impala production ends?

    • @MrTblackmon
      @MrTblackmon 5 лет назад

      @@alexsalas4559 No, the engines are naturally aspirated four-cylinders and six-cylinders engines for the Chevrolet Impala and Buick LaCrosse; however, the Cadillac XTS V-sport comes available with a twin-turbo V-6 engine.

      The High Feature V6 is in a ton of vehicles... and having a plant dedicated to one engine type is 30 year old logistics. You can retool a plant in a matter of days or even hours for a different engine.. which is part of the “just-in-time” method of production that saves on warehousing and stocking costs.

      Random RUclips Watcher its just logic right, the new lacrosse has a 8 Speed and the LGX (335 HP) so im sure the next gen impala will have soon.

    It's just impressive how smooth and comfortable this car is , I was going for the Hyundai Azera but at the last second I tried the impala and it took my mind by a storm , amazing car

    Yo I have this car and this shit is undoubtedly a well driven comfortably car. It's a sleeper for real considering I don't see Chevy advertise it. I went with the v6 I wish they had a v8 to compete with the SRT's but it's still powerful enough to satisfy and pass.

    I like almost everything on the Impala except that steering wheel and maybe rear lights. The rest looks great.

    Which trim comes with the backup camera? We had a rental a week ago but it was the 2016 version with LT but it didn't have the backup camera while others do. It's weird to me

  • @TodayWithDustin
    @TodayWithDustin 8 лет назад +2

    Nice video! Nothing negative against you or anything but why do you show the highest or close to the highest trim level? Why not do a base trim or do both videos? Just a thought.

      +Dustin Hart I'm glad he reviewed the highest trim. Lots of people review the bottom and middle trims but its nice to see the top end.

    How is it to get in and out of this car?
    Do you drop down to sit or is it an easy slide in?

      what kind of question is that. if ur going to complain about the way u get in and out of a car then u should just stick to a bike. at lease thats a easy getting on and off.

      While the Volkswagen Passat may offer competitive amenities, it is and will be mass marketed as a midsize sedan with a much lower reliability predictability, in my opinion; meanwhile, the Chevrolet Impala is a full-size sedan that is well-rounded with amenities and safety features especially the Premier trim. My choice or pick would be the Chevrolet Impala with its fresher looks, advanced technology, and V-6 power.

    • @Bartonovich52
      @Bartonovich52 3 года назад

      Impala by far.
      Better room, more power, better price, better build quality (they made the Passat on the cheap), and far fewer problems down the road.

    More like 15 to 16.5 MPG in stop and go. Go with a Cruz if you want 18 City MPG or better. I get near 32 MPG on the Interstate with my 2013 V6 LTZ. The 2013 is the older style body with the new High Feature V6. The engine performance is great but not good for teenage drivers who like to put their foot in it. Torque steer can be tricky with FWD.

    • @Bartonovich52
      @Bartonovich52 3 года назад

      The 1980 Chevrolet Citation wants its argument back.
      Even with traction control off... there is no torque steer. GM got rid of it in the 90s.
      All there is is understeer.. which is infinitely better than oversteer which teen drivers with a lead foot will definitely find out.
      And then.. like so many drivers of RWD vehicles who think they know how to drive.. they find out about lift off oversteer. ;)
      Tail slides out: “Oh yeah!!”
      Tail slides too much: “Oh shit oh shit!”
      Let’s go of gas: “OH SHIT OH SHIT!”
      Hits brakes: “SHITSHITSHITSHITSHIT”
