I’m 11 and in 5th grade but last year since I was in America counts (if u don’t know what it is it’s when people from university of Maryland go to schools and tutor you or help I with math)me and everyone in it got to go see the college and it’s my dream to go there when I’m older.
I started volunteering through America counts this semester but it got cancelled bc of covid :/ but that’s so good to hear, umd is great!! Good luck, I wish you the best :)

this so was exciting to watch because my college life will be so similar. I will be on the pre med track as well, along with scribing. I’m excited and ready to take on the work load as pre med student. I’m just so ready to go continue working towards my goal of becoming a Doctor. But I am actually a bit terrified of the Biology major, any advice for an upcoming freshman and would you recommend public health instead?

congrats!! :) I would look into applying through ScribeAmerica, they're one big company that matches you to a clinic/hospital in the area you prefer
i was admitted to umd as a bio major and im planning to do pre-med too, do you have any advice for the adjustment freshman year? in terms of the workload etc
congrats on your acceptance!! to be completely honest, freshman year was a big adjustment in terms of changing my work ethic, studying techniques, and time management. one very important piece of advice is to try your best to not fall behind bc its very easy to! I highly recommend reviewing notes and studying right after lectures to keep up with the material so its less stressful when you have exams, especially with classes like gen chem and organic chem. I'm planning on making a video on advice for incoming freshmen soon so hopefully that'll be more helpful!
