How come we did not create Prometheus user and its directory /etc/prometheus /var/lib/prometheus ?
Do we need to enable port 9090 ? thanks

Hi Same steps we can follow for dockers as well like downloading the tar file or we need to follow different approach? i see in docker documentation that we need to pull the prometheus image. Please guide Iam new to this dockers and prometheus

Thanks for watching, when you setup prometheus and grafana through docker then you dont have download tarfile(images will be already configured)

if possible , can you make video on how to configure Glowroot APM , apacheSkywalking , or any open source APM when your application is containerized? . I Tried with Glowroot but I was not successful

The basic use node exporter is collects and expose metrics related to server at endpoint, that we are consuming prometheus. if you want monitor n machines then in all n machines you need to install node exporter
