@@MurisaStories I enjoy to listen. How was America when you first arrived? Was it a culture shock? I am searching in my community maybe to do volunteer work or something. I am in my 30’s and all my friends have got married and had kids lol.
It was different for us. My mom had more culture shock than me. To me it was weird to get used to needing a car. We felt helpless the first few months bc my parents had to study, take the exams and then pass the exam and driving test before we could even get a car. And the public transport isn’t great here. Those were the main things that we had to get used to quickly. We came here from Germany and we lived in a city with public transport and we would walk everywhere. That’s why it was a bit shocking to us. And also, we thought it was funny to see huge gallons of milk. It sounds silly, but in Europe the milk is much smaller lol
