My moms whirlpool washer 1962 model washed like this. Got the clothes clean. It lasted until 1984 when I graduated college. Only thing wrong it got a hole in the tub. My grandma had one just like my moms and it was still going strong when I got married in 1992.
@@garyclark9807 I had a 1973 SEARS KENMORE TOP LOADING WASHER and after 10 years it too developed a hole in its outer tub. Luckily we had an extended warranty and the outer tub got replaced. The washer then lasted another 9 years and we replaced it with a 1992 Maytag which lasted 26 years.
