As far as locations go this one is truly unique. In the heart of this beautiful town very close to Sulmona and enjoying public transport and services, this property has a huge amount of potential yet ready to move into now.
Abruzzo is an incredible part of Italy and fast becoming the number one region for overseas investors.

A sensational property, located in a fantastic spot overlooking the village. 10 minutes to Sulmona too.
Introdacqua is enchanting, the locals are welcoming, there’s all you need here. A little market every Thursday in the square with fresh fruit/veg, chemist, Dr, P/O, bakery, grocery, 2 coffee/bars, three restaurants and the best pizza. Incredible walks and the best drinking water from the many fountains dotted around the place. We moved here three years ago from Scotland and we’ve never looked back. It is paradise.
Thank you for your comment.
Just imagine, sleeping in that above room, with the window open and listening to that rushing water. . . Heaven!
Everything in Italy looks “stunning”. Cheers🍷
Stunning and just listen to that waterfall.
Dave, this is an absolute jewel. A home plus a project. The waterfall is wonderfully soothing. I'd make two apartments. One for the owner and one for guests. Arriba!
Superiore!
Another wonderful property and beautiful town. Thanks Dave.
I love the sound of the waterfall.
Amazing potential for the price 👍 very nice
Beautiful view, beautiful place. Introdacqua is my favorite place to rest and relax ❤
As you said, what a property!!!!! I am in love with it!
It really is an incredible place!
Wait...What!?....Wow! Great future potential while you enjoy the finished space now. Stunning! Love the location and historic elements of the property. Best Wishes!
Absolutely LOVE the waterfall noise, my only concern is when it rains, flooding? how firm is the land underneath having that ? Property very crowded with clutter both living and kitchen space, but that can be fixed 😊
Wish the rooms had balconies ! Dave, how much would you budget for renovations ground floors?
Also how do the Italians protect walls from mold being in ground floor ?
The ground is stable around as it is in the rock, its not on the top of a huge waterfall, it's a run off from the mountain. When I was there we had lots of rain, in fact its been the wettest 2 months I've ever known and there were no problems at all.
Lowest room just needs digging out for a new floor, it's all fairly straight forward.
@@AhomeinItaly
Yes---- "all FAIRLY straight forward"
Lovely house with great promises in charming town!
Oh Dave, you made me laugh so much. I’m a Yorkshire Lass who has been living in USA for 22 years and when you said “Leg It” I about died, I haven’t heard that said in ages 😂😂😂😂😂
It’s simply stunning!!! I love it!
Absolutely love this--- and what one could do with the unrestored parts is worth looking into. Thank you. Great property.
Wonderful and cozy property!
Lovely and the potential IS LIMITLESS!
Easy resto as such........... perfect for owner/builder. Let the lower flat. A good buy
A really stunning property
What is behind the arched doorway, covered by the old wooden planks at the front? (Facing the waterfall)
I'm curious as well...
probably the home of the bats...
Stunning! ❤
This is an amazing property. Restoration in the US would be astronomical. What would a ballpark figure be in Abruzzo?
Thank you!
Great property! 👏
Bellissima ❤🎉😊
Super property which fully lived up to your description of being currently habitable yet with loads of potential.
I love it's location as even in my fantasy property purchases I don't drive, so basic amenities like shopping, eateries, etc. need to be within comfortable walking distance for a senior.
Got a huge kick out of your comments on the bat altercation that almost was ... I guess we each have our own ickiest creatures list although I am personally quite fond of bats. You must admit however, that the average bat will win a mosquito eating contest against a bear every time!!!! Hopefully, you will never have an unpleasant encounter with either.
Please keep up the great videos as although I'm not bringing you business per se, I really enjoy and value them tremendously for both the specific property info, and the more general location shots and details.
Nice one!
Beautiful ❤❤❤
Great video mate, love the potential in these properties and hearing your ideas on what you'd do....i start to try and picture it in my head.
And after you try to picture it in your head,... you realize the INCREDIBLE funding you'd be requiring, to make it 1/2 as loverly as DAVE makes it sound
love it
It wouldn’t work for us but it is an awfully nice place. ❤❤
Indeed it is stunning. And I can see the potential. When it sells, if they do restore the rest, time for a video even if they aren't wanting to sell. Would be lovely to see the completed project. Well, this is IF they see it with eyes like ours David; eyes to restore it and KEEP all the character that's already there and with found items add even more character.
I'm pretty sure you feel the same way as I do, the heartbreak when you see a "restored" property and every last bit of it's original character is gone, only to be replaced with all the Western glitz and glam, that doesn't in one single way look like a true Italian home. If that's what they wanted, they could have gotten that in the states at least IMHO.
Switch kitchen with bedroom no. 1 and put an on suite in the master, right above the other bathroom. Done. For the rest I totally agree with you with the open plan. I wish the bottom room downstairs could be connected with thew middle floor. One fear: the back of the house has no windows?
lovely and thanks for sharing. I can see a big potential of 3 separate apartments here, am I right?
I see possibilities.
My Kind of place!
great
Loved it especially the location but wonder is it possible to put an internal staircase down to the unrenovated part of the property to make it one good sized house? I can imagine that first bedroom you showed off the Lounge would be a Dining room and maybe the main bedroom as a guest room then create a new Master suite downstairs.
Yes, you would be able to do that.
@@AhomeinItaly thanks
My mother's old home town. Canadian now
Love your channel and trust your opinion!
One question: Why do so many homes have bars on the ground floor windows? A web search gave different answers (anywhere from it's the law to it prevents break-ins). Can you shed some light on this please?
Love this house, I would be afraid to move there as my Italian is terrible and I am sure it anyone in the village speaks English it would be a miracle😢
I would restore that traditional downstairs kitchen. I prefer cooking with wood. The lower floor has a lot of work to do, but the upper floor is beautifully restored with a few minor tweaks/upgrades to the bathroom and kitchen.
Of course I would restore the outdoor space. That something I do myself.
I will have to sell my house to get this house n make it home
We’re trying to buy this house. Just waiting on Dave.
Looks beautiful… fully furnished? parking? Train station close? Might consider buying..
I want more bats. My cat and I were waiting for it to appear, so patiently, too.
Remember you'll have to learn italian. Don't imagine you can live in a country without knowing well the language 😊.
This one will not be on the market long. I hope you can find my place in Italy, when I have finished renovating here in the UK.
Water feature? It's got great feng shui!
What a beautiful view, the only thing that worries me is the foundation of the area. they are many cities in Italy, surrounded by beautiful mountains which suffer landslides since what happened because of the insecure terrain not many years ago. I hope it is not in this area. Thank you
When there are castles of a thousand years and hundreds of years old houses, I don't worry!!
Felicity and I were really hoping to see that bat come flying out of the storage area. Absolutely loved this one.
Brian and Felicity Oxford
You didn't mention that grey elephant in the view 😂
LOL! Another "incredible" property. First few seconds of the video. Just waiting for the "stunning" and "amazing" superlatives to abound. Keep the good work up! ;)
Wonderful property but the one bathroom off the Kitchen is the only downfall, wish there was an on-suite
I believe you could have one in the main bedroom because the plumbing is below.
A Bat!! .... Hah... Hey Dave.... Your OK mate... Say Hi to Domenico..
Its something about this hpuse that makes me feel oh its hounted!…Feeling started begore u mention the bat!Its amth sooo dark in those paintings i dont know what..
Amd im sorry all pthers like it,but im not only one scared and its not only bats that scared you isnt it??
Nice place bit of a money pit to do the rest.
What is behind the door on the terrace - behind the outdoor table and chairs?
I'd like to know as well.
It is the room I said to use as a bedroom, behind the stone fireplace.
@@AhomeinItaly thanks
Love the property especially the downstairs part. My imagination is running wild.
@@AhomeinItaly the hight of the boarded-up arch is way below the window that is in the room where you said a bedroom could be.
@@lahendrix8 I believe the doorway opens to steps up to the bedroom Dave mentioned.
❤
Is this available still?
Is this still available?
It even has a batcave!
I only wish you would either invest in a drone or at least video more around the property to give a better view of the surrounding area such as the waterfall or the castle. And a video of you walking from the parking area to the property would also be helpful. More info about the town such as number of cafes, restaurants, pharmacies, hospitals, etc. would be very helpful too
Hospitals usually don’t exist in small towns. You have to go to a nearby city.
Aaw..let Domenico speak in his tongue n you can translate...😊

Hey David, we love your videos, but this one was stuck ZOOMED-IN so we actually couldn't see anything that you were talking about, except extreme close-ups of paintings, and stone walls, and shaving packets....! Have you watched it yourself Dave? We would love to actually see what the property looks like after the first 5 minutes.
Thanks mate
Don't see any problems from my side and noone else has said this. Maybe it's a setting on your computer????
I imagine mosquitos
They did a good job remodeling this place except that the bathroom is in a really bad spot. It's not convenient to either bedroom.
Just so you know, bears want to eat you, and bats want to avoid you.😮 😂😅😂😅😂😅 😊
In need of a top coat

Window are too small to take advantage of that grat views.
Needs a lots of reconstruction work . Both properties . Perhaps to knock into one . As it is , is no good . Very old-fashioned regarding space and windows .
Too bad they did not restore with better tiles. It is the same labor cost.

"Loads more than can be done"
You mean, loads more that HAS to be done!
Can not fathom why someone has not snapped this property up yet. The fireplace in the downstairs 'project' area could be the inspiration for the most magical master suite (double bedroom and small lounge), with the restored floor above offering everything you need for either a short term holiday visit, or whilst you transform the rest of the property to your needs. If we did not have family commitments here in Sydney for the next 6 to 12 months, I would have been beating an email path to your virtual door about this home. You can keep 'Bartholomew' the bat though ... shudder
No more Italians in Abruzzo. If I buy in Italy….. I want Italy.
Obviously you have never been. Abruzzo is so popular because its real Italy!
Says the person who has never been to Abruzzo. Please, go someplace else, it will be a win for everyone.
Get on with it wittering on too much ..........nice place
Just turn the volume down...........
WHAT IF, with the owner splitting it into 3 units, THE OTHER RESIDENTS DO NOTHING TO FIX THEIR AREA... and YOU, after dumping tons of money into this "DEVELOPMENT", are left having damage from neglect?
The owner is not splitting it into 3, the price is for everything.
Like your videos, but please slow down the swinging back and forth
ANY property, or, (for that matter), ANY thing
COULD be "FANTASTIC"...
You're basically trying to put lipstick on a rotten pig❗️
Too many superlatives, how many times do you have to repeat yourself over and over, you sound like Willy Wonka
Thankyou
