@@KandiKlover Those moped drivers can't help it that they're forced on de cycle-paths. My school used to be very far away from where I lived. Using a moped was the only way I could get there in a reasonable time. I would've liked to drive on the road, but most of the time that wasn't alowed.
The old Mughal emperors of India/Pakistan/Afghanistan considered cloud-gazing to be the supreme form of poetry. They would have felt right at home here.
Really enjoyed the bike tour. Your bike paths there remind me of our Thames Valley Trail here in London Ontario Canada. Several branches of bike paths all in different directions, north, south, east and west.
Really enjoyed traveling around with you, it was very immersive. We love visiting both Amsterdam and Haarlem, so good to see the cycle between those places. We make go pro walks through soulful cities, so it's good to see others doing travel through's in different ways. Thank you for your well filmed, engaging video.
Traffic well negotiated especially in front of the most difficult spot in front of Central Station 😱 . You guys might have been slightly too optimistic about the people getting out of the tour bus staying off the red bicycle lane.
In the cities, by law (not in practice) limited to 25 km/h, mandatory for them to ride in the bycicle lane. The speed for cars on these roads is 50 km/h. Outside of the cities the by law (not in practice) limited to 45km/h scooters also ride on the bycicle lanes (mandatory). The speed for cars on these roads varies from 60 km/h to 100km/h. All in an effort to seperate slow participants from faster participants in traffic.
@@LindaCasey You must have followed certain signs to know where to go. From your video you knew how to go. What signs did you follow. I'm familiar with the area but I've never taken that road to Haarlem from Amsterdam. I come to Holland and stay in Zaandam every year to bike. De jong posted in reply some #'s to follow but they don't check out.

They recently changed the law. Scooters on bike lanes are forbidden now.
