In between renting and buying an apartment, I needed somewhere to stay. After exhausting all my options (rental crisis in Australia), my mother made it very clear that I was not staying in the family home. I purchased a van and lived in it for 3 months with my 2 dogs. My mother would not even allow the van near her property, which was really not allowing me near it. The level of cruelty and the things she said will never leave me. She is not welcome in my new home.
