Omg, love both this and the official album version. Totally agree with other people that they should release a "first drafts" album. So much of their original versions are seriously good, in addition to how they changed and finally released them which are also completely fabulous to.
all the tracks, just weave in-and-around this great example of how a mere pile , or stack of tracks, is way more-than-the-sum of its parts: there's a synergy, big-league..this thing is endlessly listenable, unlike practic'ly any other song: that's fairly remarkable!
on the other hand, we're all frack'd now, and i blame alex jones, for being more than a little too kind, to trump, who couldn't be-bothered-to take serious warnings, and made an ass of all the trump-haters, asses of all the trump supporters, and maybe he's a little bummed about how it all went down, but he shoulda written-and-released one hell-of-a-tell-all-book by now!
this, in fact is the real version ; any inversion, or so-called improvement, only proves they may as well start an entirely new track, or just stay on this one and trust where it's goin'!
Same for me. I used to hear this many times back in 2007 when I was 8 and 9 years old and this was always the version that was my nostalgia. Never until just now (on 2/1/2022) have I ever listened to the final album version in its entirety.

¡Hola!

"I'm trying to send a sign in a language I don't speak" Chris had to write to Kraftwerk in German to get rights for the riff since it's the same one heard in Computer Love
@@yoshix_ i thought he said 'sing a song, in-a-language,,,,', same-difference, i suppose!~
Omg, love both this and the official album version. Totally agree with other people that they should release a "first drafts" album. So much of their original versions are seriously good, in addition to how they changed and finally released them which are also completely fabulous to.
This is the best version.
perfection in melody, lyrics, and mood, WHAT A FANTASTIC VERSION.somehow this song is how i feel.
I don't understand how they chose the album version over this version. This just has that Coldplay FEEL
Best Song Ever a Shame that only a bunch of people knows about it....
I keep looking in places to buy this version, but then I realize it's not released, but I'm glad I can listen to it on RUclips.
That guitar hook is so good, it fits with any version of the song.
all the tracks, just weave in-and-around this great example of how a mere pile , or stack of tracks, is way more-than-the-sum of its parts: there's a synergy, big-league..this thing is endlessly listenable, unlike practic'ly any other song: that's fairly remarkable!
i like the guitar-bits all-the-way-thru, and the way all the other parts weave with them and each other but only complement each other: extrawwdin'ry!
sempre irei achar essa versão a melhor!!!
SIMMMMMMM, PERFEITA!
A melhor 🤌🏼
3:40 did I just fall for a song?
The transition between "meee" and the rest is and an addiction to me
I’ve always loved this version the most.
I hope that eventually Coldplay will make a collection of all they're songs including the demos and B-sides. That would be the greatest thing ever
BEST VERSION
I used this version as a tribute to my brother killed in an aircrash...also 33 has very special significance to me
on the other hand, we're all frack'd now, and i blame alex jones, for being more than a little too kind, to trump, who couldn't be-bothered-to take serious warnings, and made an ass of all the trump-haters, asses of all the trump supporters, and maybe he's a little bummed about how it all went down, but he shoulda written-and-released one hell-of-a-tell-all-book by now!
I love that one of the lyrics scrapped from this ended up being used in Glass of Water.
“Going nowhere much too fast”
I actually prefer this to the album version
+Jenifer ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ Agree.
couldn't agree more
same
Same.
so do I
This version is so much better than the album version
this version is very much awsome when i listen to it when i travel..
I second that!!!
En Spotify por favor!!!!!❤
ive actually never listen the real version. ive been listening to this version all my childhood. so lucky.
this, in fact is the real version ; any inversion, or so-called improvement, only proves they may as well start an entirely new track, or just stay on this one and trust where it's goin'!
Same for me. I used to hear this many times back in 2007 when I was 8 and 9 years old and this was always the version that was my nostalgia. Never until just now (on 2/1/2022) have I ever listened to the final album version in its entirety.
Uma das melhores músicas do COLDPLAY. Que som!

Ive ALWAYS known this version. It used to be on my 'mp3' player. The only Coldplay song i had on it. But i have to Say the one off the X&Y is probably my favorite.
You had the leaked version of X&Y like me lol!
YoungGunZz Huntski Same here
I grew up on this version. Haven't heard it in years. Thank you so much for this dude.
Never understood why the band didn't really like this song.
It was moslty Guy that's why they don't play it anymore
Where did you hear it was Guy that didn't like it?
The band has a certain animosity towards x and y because phil left for that album. They also hate speed of sound unfortunately.
@@chandlerfelty1284 why ? how ? lol
@@nathantbc1486 the band didnt like how speed of sound was recorded and dont like playing it live anymore. X and y was a pretty tough period for the band I guess
My Favorite song from " Coldplay " I remember this was the song that made me Love This Band " Best Band in the World "
you-and-me-both, ortega!
Its just way deeper than what they actually choosed. bass structure is different and this singing melody is just epic. it has way more feelings
I remember listening to this version on the radio and immediately fell in love with it
I like this version better than the album one.
me tow
Same here
yap.. me too
So much better.
Same😎😍😎
Whoa, I remember listening to this version first before the other one back in 2006 when I was 16 years old. and wow I am so thankful to listen to this one again, and be reminded of it. My favorite CP song-have listened to them since I was 11 in 2001.
what a disappointment it must've been, or would for me, being familiar first with this perfect version, only to then hear how it had gotten all twisted-'round-funny, or somethin' for the sake of some hot-shot producer or who-knows-what? .... and the coolest drum track, completely wiped out and abandoned...? appalled, i would've been, brandon!
this is SICK!
+wlkrstph HELL YEAH IT FUCKING IS.
@@dash0173 no, it isn't! but they, clearly *were*!
sick, bro~

I Heard About The Old Virsion Of Talk Song For So Long,But After Listening To The Talk Song 'First Virsion'I Fell In Love With This Song,And The Song Became More Popular For Me.
i feel this version is much more surreal, i particularly like the first chorus and how chris martin's vocals aren't perfectly in tune
WHY AM I JUST NOW HEARING THIS FOR THE FIRST TIME!? OMG. They are literally on their own level when it comes to music... New and Old, everything they produce is magical... WOW...
cos I don't know where Im going but I wanna talk'....RIP my brother
bless his heart, n urs
Sorry for your loss 💔🌹
Lost my friend end 2013 and Coldplay reminds me always to him.....whole my life!!
@@djelroymusic well, he's probly still out there somewhere, and hopefully he finds this song too!
This is soooo otherworldly 😊
I can't stop to listen. I don't know how!
i know! it's a spell! it's catchy, right?
Yes, finally... there is always conflict in my brain when I listen to the first verse of Talk. Happy to confirm there are two versions.
the first time I heard this version was when I had it on my I pod'06-'07, I love this song so much, I priced it on amazon for $20, I gotta have it
Classy version👌 great Coldplay time
This is like a continuation to the album's version, THIS IS FUCKING AMAZING i thought i couldnt love Coldplay more 😢💙
I feel both versions are a conversation to one another! Like this one seems like the "brother" that the other narrator is trying to talk to in the album version of this song, yet he can't reach him.
@@dgrentz7635 yes! this one's the original, the older brother, if you will
OMG this is beautiful
¡Hola!
This is the best version
Mto show essa versão.
PERFEITAAA COMO COLDPLAY
When i was a kid this was the version i had on my ipod and i still think this is the better version.
😂😂😂 I did too. I use to cry to this joint at night.
This is sooo much better than the one they released.
Yk I found out about this version on soundcloud many months back while at a comicbook shop lol but yeah this version of talk has this sense of nostalgia all over it😌🖤
A melhor versão
YEEEEEEEEEES
Eu gosto mais dessa
Way better than the album version, this one has way better lyrics
we need a spotify playlist for all 1st coldplay versions!!!!!!
I love this version so much more
it s just amazing this version
Masterpiece of music!
I am literally so nostalgically happy finding this video/song and going through the comments
This is my favourite version
It's not the first version. This is the version that was going to be used on the album. But the record label thought the first version was better. So that's the one that got on the album
finally after 10 years i found this version
This version warps me back to 2005! Being 23 with not a care in the world.
When I listen the album version I turn it off and come here.
Los años pasan y sigo pensando que es la mejor versión 🤔
+Fab Romanof Jamas habra una como esta¡
concuerdo con tigo

I think I prefer the final version, it seems like it flows better. Still great to listen to this version though, thanks for the upload :D
Queria a versão no Spotify, amo as duas. 🥰
