Wonderful interview with an exciting new scholar of Samskritam, thank you @Vaad. Reviving Samskritam will need more such young scholars coming into the field and developing new approaches to not just understand, but also teach the language. PS: Samskritam is a living language and was vibrant until the British entered India. In my opinion, it is not proper to call it a classical language using a European lens. It is a living language and can be revived with a little effort.

Sholka from Veda, Ramayana, Geeta etc. ( mostly moralistic or nature related versus but even some jokes) Had to do some basic translation too. Grammar tables helps in translation. Standard for Sanskrit and Hindi literature have come down drastically in last 25 years. Deliberately I think. Current syllabus is trash.

My uncle used to say : "if you cannot answer somthing due to any reason . Then confuse the person asking the question ".
Do you think, later commentators of Sanskrit grammar did they same.
Or if I look into historical context, all these ancient Indian scholars were dependent on kings for their livelihood. They all came to know panini's rule early on . But if they quickly describe this rule, they are losing their livelihood and they need to find new rule or academic work to be relevant.
So they complicated things intentionally. And later scholars got confused due to these interpretation and do not have enough guts to reject this misinterpretations.

It is a general lecture without any practical examples by way of sanskrit words. The research scholar in sanskrit gives example of definition from English. Where is the comparable example from sanskrit? Looks like an amateur who has done some study but do not have thorough knowledge in sanskrit.

Wrong!!! Totally Egregious and arrogant attitude of this Mr. Popat! His contempt for our Knowledge tradition and our Indic Scholars is through and through!! The following is my analysis of this podcast-
    1) Contradictory Statements which are highly convoluted.
    2) Uses strawman argument to "destroy" his critics!
    3) His coloniality is visible everywhere.
PS- Stop referring Mr. Nityanand Misra for his "scholarly take" on this "research". Consult an actual grammarian like Mahāmahopāḍhyāya Dr. Pushpa Dikshit ji to know more about this shoddy research of Mr. Popat!

Isko sirf ek question pucho ki ye Aryan invasion theory mein Manta hai ya nahi.
    Saree doubt clear hojayenge.

Note - Rishi sir Jo bhi log criticism dete hai fanboy banke jaisa aapne bataya wo unka mindset he, unscientific hai, never did a mind storming, critical thinking, and limited minded hone ke karan wo aage koi bhi kaam kare to ego bura Maan jata hai (typical weak mindedness) so regularly innovative hote hai, wo typically polite, and calm hote, hai, hence to jo constructive criticism de unhi ko mind me importance do, bakiyo ko bewakoof samajh ke ignore, wo mindset typical Indian 70s 80s and 90s ke illiteracy(about everything) se aata hai, jaha log sach me bahut kattar the, Acharya prashant ki bhasa me - " soye hu log the "
