I'm super excited to be heading south!! Although I had a few rough days in the rain, it is looking better now! Zero days are an awesome thing!
Check out my photos from my thru hike on INSTAGRAM: / neemorsworld
or #NeemorGoesSobo
i like how your mom yawned in both videos lol
Haha yeah, I noticed that too. We got up pretty early both drives up to harts pass.
It was too early for me!
How do you not have more subscribers?! your videos are SO well put together. I very much look forward to your updates. Stay safe out there!
+Kyle Buckland haha, thank you!
Living here in the East, I just cannot get over the views you're experiencing nor can I believe how far you're walking each day! Incredible!
+Brady Essary yeah, it is amazing how great the trail is out here!
+Neemor's World ...I can only imagine! At least I can live vicariously through you on your journey.
Brady Essary 8great.
Finished up your road trip and Appalachian Trail. Onto the PCT. Thanks for letting us tag along! Love the footage and commentary.
Love your videos, cant wait to follow you on the trail! Thanks for sharing, be safe and have fun!
Great video, can't wait to see more!
Amazing!!! Love it! It was Shrek Bear chill in' in his swamp jacuzzi! Those views?!? Can't get over it.
Wow! Thanks for sharing your spectacular experience. I love the abundance of wide open views. Many years ago, I could walk long distances, but nothing like that. Godspeed, Mile Eater. Too bad the trail is not maintained like the AT.
Always looking forward to videos, just love them. The views are just amazing. Whats the story on the busted bridge if you have one. Thanks for sharing your hike. Keep hiking and happy trails.
+Larry3043 thank you! Im glad you enjoy them.
Im not sure what happened with that bridge, probably the winter snowmelt or something.
Hey Neemor. Just wondering. What was the reason for you to hike northbound from that sign to the US/CA border monument and then to Manning Park? How come you didn't start at Manning Park? Thanks :)
+The Trail Hunter hey! It's legal to cross into Canada on the PCT, but you're not allowed to cross from Canada into the US without going through a checkpoint.
Ahh yeah makes sense. I'm going to hit the PCT next May Northbound. Being from the UK I'll need a US visa and pass into Canada. Thanks for getting back to me bud. Would be awesome to hike with you one day. You probably get that a lot though ;) Keep sharing my good sir.
I grew up in north bend which is the town just west of snowqualmi pass. I miss the PNW! (In SF now).
Nice video Neemor. Your videos capture the feel of the trail.
Big fan brother just started following u and went back and watched some older vids keep up the good work and keep doing what your doing shout out from little Rhode island
great video always enjoy watching them, keep uploading. thumbs up as always.
There you are HOORAY!! some videos... i guess we're all gonna find out how far apart your wifi access is... Glad to see you on the Trail!! // you shouldnt see rain once you get a few hundred south. The Sierras can have storms but you've got a big stretch of OR and NorCal that should be totally dry.
+potatothorn yes, it has been pretty dry lately, but it's raining again today.
I have had wifi a couple times, but am scheduling the videos to come out every Tuesday. Once I get enough videos lined up I will start posting them twice a week.
*****
great plan thanks for going to all the trouble of filming and uploading
+potatothorn oh, it's not trouble! I love doing it!
great video man...the west coast trails are so cool..
When I thru-hiked the AT last year, I did lots of 18-22 mile days, but 23 was my biggest. Is the hiking really that much easier on the PCT?
+ratherbbankin yeah! The miles come so much easier out here. There are many parts of the trail that are just smooth dirt with no obstructions at all.
Crushing the miles dude! Keep it up.
I love the cascades..my old stomping grounds. I might skip the AT and just stick to the pct..in not a big fan of the east coast. great footage and editing. and good luck I'll be following your journey. if I wasn't in Alaska I'd bring you some trail magic in Oregon
+matanuska high yeah, the pct is great! The Appalachian Trail will always be my first love though.
+Neemor's World did you grew up near the AT?
+matanuska high yup! Well, sort of. We had a summer home in NY right next to the AT
The views are amazing! Have fun and be safe!
Nice , Cant wait for more updates !
Holy crapola!!! 4:50
AMAZING VIEW!!!
Wow, what views! Can't wait to see more.
watched again! Yes, that's a Yeti sitting in the snow; a guru Yeti; meditating LOL
Plus, that wasn't a person sitting on the snow field. IT WAS A YETI!!!!!
+Mike Sides HAHA probably.
awesome
Amazing views I've never seen in my 44 years here. /Sigh. And yes views get blocked by weather.
Unfortunately there are too many trees and too little manpower to clear them. I've recently done a 3 mile hike with 25 plus obstacles far worse then you filmed. Quite the challenge. Good luck. Insane mileage.
Ive smoked out on that broken bridge 1:21 with some friends on a day hike haha
Amazing views
Where is this it’s beautiful
