Seeing Chuck with the Megaman outfit not as mod in an offical capacity is insane! I thought I’ve seen this game inside and out but now there’s so much more to see with the debug version.
Now I really wanna see a more comprehensive video about the AutoChuck feature. Like, how much can it do on its own? What does it prioritize? Can it enter load zones? Looks like a very interesting debug feature.
I'm guessing that the "Nap" mode was a feature that would have allowed you to instantly pass a certain amount of time. It was probably so that if you just wanted to, for example, get right to story missions and skip survivors, or even just wanted to skip any down time, you could just advance the clock without having to wait.
Glad that wasn't included, defeats the purpose of the expansive mall, when you have to wait you'll often wanna go kill zombies or something like that to pass the time

Personally, I think it would be awesome if you started covering all the dead risings. I do love the first game but the others would be fun to get to know better. Also that I assume most of us who are fans of your channel have already played probably at least 2 or 3 games of the series. Including case west.
Man I loved the Dead Rising series all the way up to and including 3, the last one 😉, and to see the community is still active has made me so happy. I played this game in Co-op so much when I was younger, learned the location of every chainsaw and zombrex spawn in the game 🤣 Thank you for making these videos
The xbox version of dr2 runs great but the Playstation version crashed 4 times in one day. It makes sense though because dead rising was designed and released for the xbox originally.
Wonder if there is anything different inside Off The Record's debug menu? Also, you think there are any unused items for Dead Rising 2 in the files like the bazooka from the first game?
God this is actually my third favourite game I recently bought it at the end of 2020 and it’s the best 15 bucks I ever spent because I beat it 6 times ( if you including the one time I beat DR2OTR) in the last few months and on my 7th play through, I went from only having the ps4 copy to now having the ps4, xbox360, steam, ps3, and the ps3 zombrex release complete. I’m only missing the Xbox one version and I guess the Xbox360 zombrex release. I got a shoutout from Peter flemming on Instagram for a clay model of Chuck I made, and I can now draw Chuck from memory, my second favourite character of all time is Chuck (I would say first but I like Nathan drake to much), im working on a Chuck Greene funko pop and im working on a dead rising 2 lego set I have Chuck, frank, a few zombies, and a few combo weapons done, and spite the fact this game only really came into my life in the last few months it became my 3rd favourite game surpassing uncharted 1 which is now 4th, and Knew who Chuck was years before I knew what dead rising was, in fact he was the first character that wasn’t playable in smash bros brawl. Anyway this game and the character Chuck mean a lot to me know and is up there with smash bros brawl (my favourite game because it got me into video games and wanting to know everything about them) for it shares a special place in my heart that and sonic generations, uncharted 1, and gmod. But it makes sense I am a Canadian and my dad is from Vancouver island, and we moved from Alberta carstairs to Vancouver island recently, and this game was not only made in Canada but Vancouver’s main land plus obviously the voice of Chuck he is Canadian so it adds up
If I had to guess why Auto Chuck exists: While it can be used to test/debug gameplay without someone actually playing the game, I could see it being used in conjunction with the camera tools in order to record gameplay for advertisement trailers.
Hello stip0, long time fan here and i really appreciate everything you've shown from dead rising. it inspired me to solve the mystery of dead risings backstory and inspiration. it bugged me no one could figure out the story of the true eye cult. I cracked the code of it all I believe and would like to offer you the story to tell if you're interested. All i ask is for a shout out on the video for bagging rights haha. i know who the true eye cults leader is, where his outfit and weapon comes from, why they're suicidal homicidal. where the mall comes from, the war frank covered, where willimate was inspired from, who barnaby is, and how they got the overall idea for dead risings plot.
@@eduazy watch noam chomskys manufacturing consent as well as the order of the solar temple and it will all make sense. it's about using the american media to commit and cover up cambodian genocide which I believe is the war frank covered, and the reason he brags about it as all other reporters that tried to cover it were assassinated by the us which would also explain franks expertise in survival and combat. barnaby is modeled after professor noam chomsky, you can even find him wearing the exact same suit. the opening shot is of a helicopter going over a mall, you can find some of the reference they used to make drs mall in it down to some of the layout and the clock tower. As for the solar temple, this is where the leader of the true eye cult came from, he is the sole survivor after the cult committed suicide and killed any members who didn't want to commit. in the theater by jills sandwhichs when you run into them, it spawns a total of 75 of them matching the solar temples exact death count while also explaining why they're suicidal and kill none believers. they also drugged members before killing them, which is what they do to get you back to their hideout. if you compare the true eye cult leader to the survivor its an exact match, same facial features and they have the same hair style, hell even their eyes are the same color. the exact outfit he wears was worn during solar temple ceremony where you can also find true eye cult leaders Templar sword with minor details changed. it was used to initiate or promote members of the cult. the last piece of evidence is the leader or one of the members was going to be burned in a metal coffin to "die as he was born" some kind of connection with the sun, no ones talked about it but in the dr files I found cut content from the true eye cults hideout, the model was cut but a texture was left behind that was a metal coffin with the true eye cults symbol on it.
I love that when I saw AI Chuck dutifully going about his thing, I said, "Awwww, that's so cute!" as if he was sentient, and then you called him creepy and I kabgeakbg

I think the reason this games debug menu is so extensive is because the engine was tailor made from the ground up for this game, and dead rising 3

This is so cool, there a mod called the greene menu that gives you the debug menu, it being updated to have everything the old debug did.
