I’m glad you mentioned Headbangers Rhythm Royale. It launched into gamepass with broken multiplayer but has been fixed. Up to 30 friends can play together. Games take a couple tries to understand but it’s really fun IMO
I think Monaco is cool, ultimate chicken horse, overcook, plate up, outward is nice but haven't played myself yet, but yes I agree there isn't enough local splitscreen

I’m shocked y’all didn’t mention As Dusk Falls. It’s an 8 player co-op narrative that’s on gamepass with branching paths. It’s really accessible even to non gamers as you can use a phone or tablet to play. It’s really fun with a great story once you get use to the art style
Marathon reboot by Bungie ... team-focused looter shooter ... it's crazy how they basically rebooted Marathon with Halo and then now are just using the Marathon name for something totally different.
I also recommend Outward (2 Player), 9 Parchments and Strange Brigade (both 4 player). Definitely buy on sale tho. Outward is a rpg with some weird/bad/fun combat and great world to explore. Can also be played in split screen. 9 parchments is a twin stick shooter with some gorgeous art. Especially fun as a couch co-op on the switch. Strange Brigade is a silly cooperative shooter that is better the more ppl you have.
sadly I have stingy friends that don't even wanna buy games that are 10 bucks worth. Still thank you for making this list, I might convince them to buy them with this video

I love playing scp secret labatory but maybe 5 min into a game my friend got a vac ban he bought a pc didn't make one so he probably has something in there to it ( this a phenomenon and hasn't happened again for anyone I can find)
Imma just say, if you want a really fleshed out and complete survival game. Grounded is really solid it has an ok story but the crafting and combat is super addictive. Super recommend.

mmos are amazing with friends specifically wow its very easy to quest with people on world of warcraft and easy to do ALL CONTENT together
So there's a thing about FF14 that there literal players that do nothing but stand around the major cities. They're there 24/7 just doing one pose.
Vrchat, roblox and most games with a social aspect of these braindead/greened out players doing nothing

Definitely check out the 'tide games, Warhammer Vermintide, Vermintide 2 and Warhammer 40,000: Darktide. Also Remnant: From the Ashes and Remnant 2.
Vermintide 2 was so fkn boring and that comes from someone who has played FPS games all my life. It felt unpolished and repetitive.
