so that was the very long video you talked about. i'm glad it isn't shorter. i didn't care to dive into password managers and i think i learned everything i wanted. thanks a lot!
As a CISSP engineer for over 15 years this is a great video. However, the underlying factor is of course, human vulnerability. Social engineering is by far the largest attack and successful vector for breaches-maybe not for large corporations but for the everyday user. I hope this video goes viral and end users see this and take heed to what you present and take action regarding it.
keepass + syncthing is my solution... syncs across android, linux, windows etc and no dependence on cloud/servers. Plus each device is effectively a backup, you'd have to lose all your stuff to lose your passwords
A note about the Enpass pricing model shift: it's not entirely accurate to say that they held their promise. When you bought the one time premium version way back when you were promised to get all current *and future* features. However when they shifted their subscription model, some features that were previously usable, notably the breach Monitoring, suddenly got locked behind a second paywall. They even have a dedicated page on this topics called "Why do i need to pay again". There they basically argue that you still retain access to features that were available way back when, but new premium features require renewed payment. Which is firstly a breach of their promise of future features and secondly the breach monitoring feature was introduced *before* the shift in pricing model. Overall this has sparked some controversy and at least anecdotally led to people to loose some amount of trust in the company and moving to a different password manager
the buzzing and high ptiched tone in Felix's part were...a ltitle bothersome it didn't bother me that much, but i'm sure other people more sensitive to this kinda stuff probably would mind
I still use Bitwarden but recently the integration with Duck browser is all over the place on macOS. Just saying. Not sure who is culpable Duck or Bitwarden or both.
I got married, had 3 kids, died, reincarnated, married, had 2 kids, died, reincarnated waited 20 years, and here I am, watching the next Kalos video.
Came to get my Bitwarden preference reaffirmed, stayed for Felix's brilliant comedy bit.
LOL kalos remembered their password, hence the new video..
Bitwarden the GOAT.

Thanks. Lots of work going into these types of videos. 👍
I get your point about being subscribed and as a creator I know it takes ages to make vids. Keep it up!!
