I love Monet, but sometimes I feel like Monet just knows the term used, Larping, but doesn’t quite know what it stands for or what it means, specifically. I’ve seen her explain it to other people or at different interviews or interactions w/other queens and she always says the same thing “ you know they go into the forest or open area and say ‘thunder, thunder….lightning bolt, lightning bolt…” then she repeats “you know, Larping! You don’t know Larping??” But doesn’t get to explaining what it stands for. 🤭

I think DeJa didn’t have anyone to volley with (other than Ru) during the Snatch Game. All of the other queens jokes were so bad and never landed at all. The silence was deafening. At least DeJa made Ru, Raven and Dove laugh.
Bianca will always be my favorite Queen. Whip smart, biting sarcasm, and adorable dimples.

I love that idea of at least letting the winner perform because DeJa is someone I want to see lip sync more! What she did that first episode is still haunting me (in the best way). This season has some serious lip sync assassins, and still she's the one that most has my attention because of how incredibly dynamic that performance was all around. Assassins always have masterful lip sync elements: musicality, facial and/or physical emoting, elocution/tight lip movement, training, playfulness or delightfully unpredictable performance choices, etc. DeJa surprised me by having so many of those elements at once and also how she was able to put them together so well considering the pressure/stress/exhaustion of the moment. I am a dancer and also a ASL(American Sign Language) Interpreter, which makes me really notice the details and fine muscle movement in performances. DeJa did so much at once and in such a dynamic way that it was mesmerizing. That much detail is really rare, and I want to see her lip sync more to see if that was an exceptional situation or if she approaches all her performances with that much skill 🤔
Aubrey Plaza would be such a good character. Her interviews are INSANE. She is funny af.

The thing is she has a very deadpan, dry sense of humor. Not the easiest to nail on drag race. Also if you do a comedian you better be as funny as they are and that’s gonna be hard.

Willow Pill was actually a guest at my local gay bar as we were watching this episode and she mentioned she was nervous as the episode was airing. Now I definitely see why 😅

I just rewatched Season 6 and Bianca really is undeniable, even in a strong group. So many S6 queens weren't baked yet but so much talent there.
And this season doesn't even compare.

And this without any crazy choreo, death drops or stunts. Just being a very good lipsyncer and having stage charisma. She wasn't my favorite in s6, but she DELIVERED in every lipsync she was in. Same as TKB, no matter how insecure both of them felt during challenges, they felt at home when performing.

This episode was a disappointment on so many levels, all the way down to its ending. They couldn't just put us out of our misery and send somebody home so we could move onto better things next week, could they. Hopefully we at least get some iconique lipsynchs next week

Agreed, at least on season 11 when they bombed the Mariah Carrey church it was entertaining and chaotic. This episode was so boring and the editing was weird.
