What a cool interview. Very modest and down to earth and just an every day guy. I would’ve loved to have met him. Richard Farnsworth seems like he was comfortable talking to anybody and just a good ol boy. Nothing wrong with that

He was certainly well-liked and respected in the business. More than that, he hated four-letter words. Not long before his death, he told Roger Ebert that he was proud of the fact that in over 60 movies, he never used foul language.

Best horse I ever had was a 700$ grade gelding I got as a 4 year old and rode from childhood till I left for the military...the old man lived to be 31 and my kids got to ride him for a few years. You could rope, shoot, hunt off of him he would swim, work cows, run barrels, jump, trail ride, pack game, and even plow and drove good in harness, even win a few show classes and was undefeated for 12yrs of arena races.
