@@SuperKinahead i don’t think puppet combo made this (correct me if im wrong), this looks really sloppy & amateur-ish compared to a lot of puppet combo’s recent releases. i feel like this is more of an attempt to replicate puppet combo’s aesthetic & gameplay rather than an attempt to make a game inspired by them. it’s a nice concept, but it’s extremely messy in execution

I know it's an emulation of PS1 graphics but the warping textures don't need to be so intense.
The game looks more like a gory psychedelic simulator when it comes to the walls. Holy shit, it was messing with my head.

I don't know if anyone else caught on but the passcode for the door was 1613. In the intro it read that M. Andrews was killed with a butcher knife approximately 13 inches. After the prologue with the dispatcher bit it said he was killed with a butcher knife roughly 16 inches.

I love how missing door handles are the absolute barrier for any horror game protagonist.

This game is dope for what's probably an alpha. At 10:00, it asked if you wanted to read the notes, only for the notes to say "A big pile of notes, read?"

This is pretty by the numbers. The opening was a unique way to start BUT, even the psycho here felt like a serious lack of creativity.

Well, since this is America in the 90s, I can't think of a reason why the local cops won't have some form of weapon (like a .38 Special if they are that broke or heck, even a baton or a hunting shotgun that the cop owns privately). Like, it would have made it so much more scarier if you had a gun and you used it but it doesn't do shit to the psycho.
If the dev had set the game in Britain it might have been more plausible that the cop doesn't have a gun.

Why would he walk around the office on a boring night filming himself drinking water and talking on the phone? I would've just assumed the whole VHS filter was a neat effect the developer liked, but the screen at the start saying "The footage you're about to see..." destroys that theory. This guy really just loves video taping everything he does. And to be fair, some enthusiasts would do exactly that when handheld video cameras were a new thing, but still. It'd actually make more sense if this took palce in the present day and was presented as body camera footage. I doubt 911 operators wear body cams at the office, but it'd still be an acceptable departure from reality to me.
This is really confusing. I don't think cops had body cams in the 90s. Also the FBI warning in the beginning contradicts itself. It says they don't know what he was killed with nor what happened to him. But here's a video of what happened. Make it make sense.
