A guy gets shot shooting seagulls (protected species) and after hearing he was eating them as he was laid off, the judge lets him off with a warning. As the guy is leaving, the judge says "Hey, what does seagull tastes like?" The guy replies "Somewhere between Bald Eagle and Spotted Owl your honor!"

And in Colorado we have lots of rattlesnakes and a few years ago a man got attacked by a juvenile Mt Lion and choked it to death with his legs but had to be hospitalized

I've seen pygmy rabbits hopping about the sagebrush in Northern Nevada. And, in my opinion, cougars are more dangerous than bears. I've heard several stories from neighbors of mountain lions attacking pets and neighborhood deer. They're very sneaky.

True. Bears are omnivores. They won’t bother with pets or people if they don’t have to, since they can eat other things. But cougars, like all cats, are hypercarnivores, meaning their diet consists almost entirely of meat. So they’re more likely to eat a pet.

One of the cool things about American wildlife is that although we have venomous critters, most of them are not lethally venomous, and about half of the states are far enough north that they don't have any venomous critters. For me, Australia would be a turnoff because every other creature there will kill you with a sting or a bite.

@@jeffhampton2767Because most people eat half processed food, and the other half they cook, if they even do, is either chicken or beef. Most people don't catch their own food, like go fishing or hunting either. Plus people don't want to try new things. Frog legs ? Sounds crazy until you eat it and it taste like a Michelin star cheffs chicken. But if you ever want to try new things, you can try kangaroo burgers, emu sausages, bear tenderloins, chocolate covered scorpion, snake, sharkfin soup, goat, alligator, rabbit..... The list goes on, gotta switch it up sometimes.

The FLorida Panther is a cougar. They are all over North America. IN Canada we often call them mountain lions. So I’d say this animal is not really specific to Florida, although it is a cougar subspecies, so…I mean I guess I could start Calling mountain lions here Canada Mountain lions, but they’d still be cougars.

The blue crayfish isn't that expensive, I think I paid around 8-12 USD. I used to have a breeding male and female in a 55 gallon fish tank. I would raise them to about an inch long. Then trade them to my local fish store for store credit. Fun fact I put the tiny babies into a tank with aquatic frogs that were much bigger than them. the baby crayfish would catch the frogs by their back legs. Then eat the toes off the frogs. I saw it happen and had to separate them. Baby crayfish are veracious little suckers. they will eat anything including each other if not given enough space and food.

Every country has wild animals and some can be deadly so just be careful when your exploring around America and just be aware from a bee, wasp or other flying insects to large bears, just remember they try to avoid all humans while they try to live out their limited lives. They are many animals in the UK too? we should all be scared right??
