My son is 2 years old and the first cartoon he watched over and over was donald duck cartoons. He met donald at hollywood studios and did the exact same thing as the little duck (and cutting everyone in line) but the magic pass photographer caught the moment anyway and i can say without a doubt that in that precious moment i knew that magic was real.
Former cast member here. This was literally the reason I’d go to work every day with the characters as their photographer. Just the sheer joy on people’s faces when they’d see their favorite characters…it always brings a tear to my eye.
Well disney congratulations. I'm a grown ass man and I've cried at numerous of your movies, but this is officially the shortest creation of yours that has me bawling my eyes out. I relate to this little duckling’s feelings more than any Disney princesses. The last scene is basically me when I went to Disneyland for the first time as a 4 year old.
This has me in a whirlwind of emotions. Happy when the duck finds and book, laughing when the duck imitates to comic sad when he loses it in the water. Can’t help but think that this is really really sweet.
