These events look like a lot of fun and I'm sure you'll meet someone but I don't think I would ever bring them back to America I would go there to live personally
The Philippines and Panama are the 2 top locations where expats are deciding to leave the US and live their lives.
I can attest to the fact that Filipinos are very receptive and friendly with Americans, and the fact that they speak English and have a great exchange rate on the USD helps too!
You may never want to come back to America yourself, many men don't and live happily in the Philippines.

Had Jollibee in Cebu last month, it was not that good. Different tastes I suppose. Red Lizard in Ayala better.
It was better in the 70s and 80s, back then a man could fly in and be transported from airport to hotel...hotel intro of many women at the hotel...transported to attractions throughout holidays, or if you want to venture out, there would be tours available, beach, old church’s and buildings etc, and you would have a magnificent couple of months...nowadays it’s all digital, and everybody organises on apps that I never understood...me personally, when I’m on vacation i like everything to come easy, in no mood to get lost and waste time.
The matchmaking agency that I used to meet my wife did everything you described, Steve - still a reality in Cebu and Davao.

I thought this kind of services been banned for long time? Philippine government think this kind of dating service leads to prostitution as the foreigners spend time with them and take all the women they want for a week or month while they are in tour or on vacation.
The Philippine government believes that services that allow foreigners to buy a wife lead to prostitution and sex trafficking, which has led to the laws you appear to be referencing.
This is an introduction event. The only service provided is to meet single women in the city who are serious about finding a relationship. If we find foreigners have the wrong idea about our service, they're not allowed to participate. Those signs usually surface immediately.

Only about 20% of men wish to be filmed during these events. Many of our younger clients have concerns about how they will be criticized, concerns that are often shed with age in some of our more mature clients.

And let's face it, the Philippines is a poor country and most of these women have no positive prospects there.
