Thanks so much for having me, Pat, and letting me share a bit of my journey! I hope it inspires others to see how building a SaaS can help you bounce back after a layoff or tough times.
Becoming a millionaire is all about your mindset, you do build your mindset through research... also having a Mentor who can help you build your mindset and also be your guide, Although most people think they can do it without having a mentor... that is right and also wrong, having a mentor like Kathleen Eisen I have managed to grow a nest egg of around 1Btc to a decent 6Btc's in the space of a few months. Amidst this, the insights of a knowledgeable guide like that of Kathleen Eisen can be crucial, Her expertise in navigating the nuances of trading has been the key for Me understanding and making the most of these emerging financial trends.
Hate to say this but somethings off and fishy @ 10:55 when you asked about the tech stack he was not very open towards it, he just shared notion and outseta(which is used for managing subscriptions) and is NOT a no-code builder platform, he didn't even break-down the running cost of $1000. Don't want to sound rude but do you do due-diligence of checking the interviewee's stripe/ payment account before jumping on a recording session? and also, most of the viewers of this channel are creators or those who aspire to become one, so while watching an interview with tech creator there is an expectation of getting to know atleast something regarding the tech-stack.
Why don’t YOU do your homework!! Outseta has a no code option and is for much more than managing subscriptions!! All these new creators want info given to them but don’t do any additional research, want something for nothing!! Bro, how’s your content coming along??! Other than bad mouthing others! That doesn’t count as REAL content, btw!!
@@jennifertruitt3198what Outseta app are you seeing? It's not a low code app development tool at all? It's a business management CRM system. The dude clearly didn't build 2 web apps with Notion or Outseta. So the comment is totally spot on. The guy didn't list anything for his tech stack and his monthly costs he even said are about $1000 and not roughly $50 like he said the Notion and Outseta cost. So what costs the other $900+ dollars a month to run his business?
@@jennifertruitt3198 You'll need to provide a link to this capability - I have searched the Outseta site and reviewed all of their offerings and I do not find an app builder that will do anything like what the subject of the interview has built. Outseta allows for login auth, tracking, gating and related CRM capabilities. No ability to build the actual app functionality beyond that.
I’m more of a product designer with some old-school front-end skills, so when people ask me about coding practices or tech stacks, I don’t feel like I bring much value. I DO recommend Notion for project management and Outseta for the backend-it handles payments, auth, CRM, and all that in a secure way. For the front end, I don’t use any fancy modern frameworks, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and some libraries. I’m sure modern frameworks could be great for beginners. Honestly, for solo entrepreneur projects, the best stack is the one you’re comfortable with and lets you move fast.
I think it’s smart that you pre-recorded the questions and have your guests prerecorded their answers, but as a back and forth dialogue this feels really disjointed and diminishes the quality of the “interview”.
hey Pat! I love your channel as it inspires people and it proves that this can be done and achieved with the right tools and mindset. it would be interesting to see how these people actually tackle the whole trademark thing (if relevant), that seems to be a bottleneck for many people who decides to start a solopreneurship. Thanks!
So in only 4 hours a day he built these with no-code tools? Or is it 4 hours a day to maintain them? This was ideally a 3-5 minute advert video about niching down / free tools since no details on other important topics were covered so we can learn how to do something similar.
the most valuated video and indie hacker ever know, when he said I sell time value nor a product it's just make all sense thank you both for the interview
@@fer_MOMENTO Yes, that’s normal , we want to know do you coded yourself to build the core software/ features of your sass or just bought the codes or hired someone and modified it?
@@visiblehai I've built the rest myself. I'm more of a product designer with some old/school front-end dev knowledge, so when people ask me about coding practices, I don’t feel comfortable giving advice. I honestly think the best stack is the one you already know and lets you move fast.
Wow… he had an idea, he acted on the idea, he promoted the idea… gave the idea a free and paid option for people to serve all markets and now he makes money off his idea! What’s not concrete???!!!!
Also this coding thing isn't rocket science. Like he built it, what do you want him to explain? Reach out to him privately and I'm sure he will oblige you the sole reason why they not giving you the whole picture is because they part of Starter Story. It's his business. His not gonna give you the whole pie. It's the Freemium model till you pay. Nothing's free.
I love the video's! It's always motivational to see what other entrepreneurs are getting up to. However, something is bothering me. 'The conversation' doesn't come across as natural. It's very obvious that the questions asked, are not exactly the ones being answered. The response doesn't match the tone of the questions. The questions are in the tone of a presenter, but the response is always conversational. In my humble opinion, it would feel a lot more natural if the questions were also in the tone of a conversation. Or the questions should be presented as a new chapter, where the presenter becomes more of a story teller. Still love the video's and hope there are plenty more to come!
and do you have to brag about it or what. if you make 15k a month, why you do youtube videos, and sell academy courses.. this is such a statement.. it smells very much like a Scam..
maybe to earn more? and what's the problem with this approach? if a person sells cars successfully, can I go to his course on sales in this area? why not? why is this a scam? if there is some proof of a scam - that's a different matter
brother if you learned how to make 15K a month and people are willing to pay you 1K for a course and 1000 people show up, is that your fault? wouldnt you wanna profit off your knowledge? we are all here to make money lmao don't be a sourpuss about it

Was there any specific courses or self taught YT videos you watched to help you boost your skillset to get into this?
What did you use to build the apps?
What is the best method for marketing this kind of apps?
How do I join?
Outseta! I never heard about it, I’ll give it a look. My question is how long did it took to learn Outseta ? The 10 days of the MPVP?
Saludos 💪🏽👋🏽

She’s mostly on Telegrams, using the username.
@KathleenEisen
Kathleen Eisen is among the best traders on the internet and I'll keep saying it every time.
Thanks for keeping it light and real at the same time. Much needed for us traders in times like these!
Thank you. I have searched her up on the internet browser, I think I am satisfied with her experience.

So both are no-code saas? Please clarify
Yes like hostinger has a no code website builder

Great video, i wonder what the actual tech stack is for all the coding done 🧐

yup, agreed. You can tell the questions were added later. Would feel more authentic if we saw the original conversation.
