I don't know why it is, but it seems that Conquest is where players have the hardest time making it to the cap, which is odd, being as there is only one of them. Perhaps in Domination, they merely *accidentally* find the A and C points, while driving along the edge of the map? It's so predictable too, the immediate headlong Zerg rush into the enemy spawn, only to be met by Terran Marines & Firebats in bunkers, and they all get wiped out. Then the obvious situation that follows, wherein the enemy now has nothing in front of them to stop their counterattack. I call teams out on this, and they usually answer "We're just trying to have fun, it's a game" well yes, I also am trying to have fun... winning is fun. Do you not like winning? Anyhoo, nice battle Ovaltine! The Chieftains are fun with the right map, that's as sure as a spawn rush.
Was in a game the other day we were pinned in spawn down to about 1/4 tickets (1 cap point), and the whole enemy team spawn camping, then magically we rallied pushed, captured, held and won, wierd game but illustrates the point of not pushing too hard which we allways see.
Love the Chieftains. The mobility on the Mk3 can be a little frustrating at times, the Mk10 is an absolute beast at 9.0. Its turret is pretty much invulnerable at BR which makes it a superb hull-down sniper. The APDS round that the 3 and 5 pack is also pretty respectable, it has decent pen and post pen damage, perhaps the best APDS round in the game. As to tactics; the other extreme to the 'press W until you reach the spawn' syndrome is where the team just literally stops after capping. I've been in a lot of games where my team has got the cap(s) and after fighting off the enemy's first wave they don't seem to know what to do and end up milling around or trying to defend the cap(s) by 'circling the wagons' and expecting to fight off the 2nd wave like that. It usually doesn't end well. If you allow the enemy team to gain the initiative it will usually bite you on the arse. Having a bunch of tanks sitting predictably around the cap just makes you an easy target for the enemy to pick you off. What players often fail to realise is that you need to close down avenues of approach to the cap(s), get in flanking positions and cut off reinforcements from the spawn points (which doesn't mean parking up outside, waiting for someone to spawn in!), effectively gaining control of the map. Otherwise you are just inviting the team to come and take the game from you.
Thanks!!! This is what i mean by asking to play 5.0-8.3 br. See so many parameters in gameplay, unlike 9.0+ where rush enemy and whoever shoots first wins most of time.
I don’t really blame players for continuing to push, although sometimes it’s a headless chicken situation - I often get several kills if my team is being pushed in a losing situation as vehicles just rush towards the spawn and are easy pickings. I blame, yet again, Gaijin. Great game, let down seriously by many decisions they make. Single (and often two) cap games seem to descend into defensive snipe fests or CoD twitch shooters - but less fun. Three cap games are a lot more tactical, which I prefer. If I didn’t want to let my team down I’d J-out in single cap games without a thought. Perhaps I should, so Gaijoobles notices at least my distaste for these modes. I’m sure there are plenty who like these modes but if you have older eyes and reflexes they are just not much fun, even when winning.
Damn you have your tank loaded in ammo, I used to take 14 rounds to not be ammo racked so easy, every time my tank got pennd ammo exploded, taking only 14 rounds made a nice improvement, also with that slow mobility and reload its not like you are going to use more than 15 rounds 😅
God the chieftains are awful. The mk 10 is barely competitive with its composite. They are slow, have mediocre ammo, and enough armor to make it poorly maneuverable and too little armor for it to matter. Speed is what matters around this BR, and they just don't cut it.

There is a radio command for "attack hostile base" but not s point unfortunately :P
It used to be at 8.3 before I think. The engine upgrade isn´t enough to be 8.7
There is a command its called, attack the enemy base
Its not a medium tank its an mbt and is over 60 ton on later models.
