Dziękuję Ci bardzo! Już szukałem wzmaka, bo mój coś właśnie piszczał, a to się okazuje głupi wiatraczek. Jutro sobie przy nim pogrzebię i go przesmaruję
Hi, great video. On my 2007 gl450 the sound works fine when I first start it up. After 30-50sec the sound is gone. The CD still appears to be running and there is no change if I switch it to the radio. I pulled out the amp and the fan has 3 wires (red, blue and white). Testing with a battery charger with red being positive and the neg on white or blue the fan does not spin. Thinking it is was a bad fan I tried replacing the fan but still the problem remains. There is some talk online about 2 sound transistors inside the amp that can be replaced and the sound issue is repaired. Do you know of this? How exactly should the 3 wire fan be tested on the bench with a 12V battery charger? thanks
1 Before you connect the fan to the charger. First, look for the technical information of the fan as it can be destroyed 2 the defective fan is not the cause of the disappearing sound after such a short time 3 Tranistors can be a problem but replacing them requires some knowledge and skills I think it will be better if you find someone with more experience in electronics 4 check if any element is not heating up excessively, if so, the problem may be more serious
hello my friend my fan came back, I tested it, lubricated it, everything is fine. then put the amp back in place and no effect, no sound again. what to do now, where to look for the probable cause?
hi, i have a Harmon Kardan w221 system, my problem is that I can't use the radio or MP3. it just doesn't play at all, do you think it's an amplifier problem? Thank you
See that BLACK DUST OF DEATH ? That is what kills these amps! When the black dust gets moisture, it will short the board! It is so much easier to clean on the Logic 7 Harmon Kardon amps. You clean it with compressed air like you did and I follow up with a hair blow dryer to dry out any moisture the air may have had. This cleaning job will save you $1000!
You can actually buy these fans and just replace the fan. I did that on my 2013 s350 and it worked great. save yourself thousands from buying an new amp.
Yes, you can buy a new one, but it's not always easy. The purpose of my film was to show an alternative, I also gave the type of fan and its dimensions so that a different one could be chosen if necessary
@@mymercrepairs1097 do you think this could be the solution? your sharing is perfect. your expression is excellent. Your approach is excellent, I appreciate you very much. If you were in the UK I would definitely like to visit you.
@@MegaBodrum Thank you, I'm glad someone appreciates my work :) If you replace the fan with a new one, the problem will disappear, but make sure that it is causing the noise
@@mymercrepairs1097 I recommend it to all my friends who drive Mercedes like me, your page. Your effort is really great. I sincerely appreciate it. I'll check the fan tomorrow. I will replace it with a new one. I will share the details. This occurred to me because there is someone else in another video describing fan repair.

Thank you for this great video, I have the same Amp on my w221 Mercedes but it has a very low sound , should I replace the IC in it ?
First, it will check if any speaker has a short circuit. Check that the IC does not heat up excessively and that it has the correct supply voltage

Definitely open it up and clean it and spray some wd40 or some oil. Otherwise it might burn out certain parts in the amp.
@@mchaudry9811 Never use WD40 or oil as you will fry the board! Compressed air and then a blow dryer to get rid of moisture.

Hi,
I have same problem %90 same. i did this but the problem was not solved. Please advise.
It means that your fan is already too damaged, replace it, the original is F3010EB-12UCV but each with dimensions of 30x30mm 12V will fit
