This is a sad story but a realistic one, if you keep adjusting with an abusive family for the sake of your children or for the the hope in your heart that your partner will change one day, then you will reach a point of no return and your children will be left abandoned because in real life men move on and get remarried way too fast and who knows how the stepmother will treat them.

Although it’s the same as any other short-drama it’s also different, these storyline(s) tend to run the “same” without any meaning to it but this one actually has a meaningful message behind it… this storyline runs the line of being realistic.
It’s devastating that neither her family nor her husband appreciated her till it was too late. 😢
The actor(s) and actresses really did an amazing job but, the actress who portrayed the FL really channeled the emotions… she gets you in your feelings as well as actress who portrays the daughter, both of them went above and beyond.
Though I’ve seen the actor(ML) in many role(s) this one fit him best, his performance in about half of this drama is what I’ve seen quite a few times however his end bit went beyond.
The actor(s) and actresses that the family really make you loathe them, they all did great.

This is actually one of the best dramas I’ve seen posted. Although it went a little overboard in the hysterics, the overall moral was right on point. People need to STOP the mistreatment of DIL’s by MIL’s just because the tradition has been passed down for centuries. Also, sadly, in families we tend to forget that they are people. We don’t treat outsiders with the disrespect and violence often perpetrated on those we are supposed to love.

Be strong in mind and will-power. I am going through the same. Was told I only have a year. It has been @9 years now and my health now is very stable. Each day, there is new developments in treating cancer. The most important thing to do is to Let Go. Do not carry too much baggage with you as it will adversely affect the body. My 3 sincere caring doctors all told me to appreciate each waking day, make the most of it to find happiness daily. Medication and treatments will help but being happy and learning to let go heals the soul and find peace.
This drama hits me hard as I went through most of her suffering for 30 years. Finally I decided to love myself and not allow them to bully me anymore. Education, a good job, good friends and being financially independent and better than all the bullies help to stop all these abuses.I turn to God and speak to him whenever I needed comfort and help. I am single but was mentally bullied and physically abused by my own family until my late 20's.They spoilt my brother immensely. My fault was being born a female. God took them away from me one by one and punish them severely.. I do not seek revenge. It is God's will and perhaps karma. Please love yourself and find happiness daily. Healthy people also pass away suddenly without warning, accidents, heart attack etc. I have found my happiness and peace I wish you the best, strength in your journey with treating cancer. God be with you.

i cried a lot coz someone i know that close to my heart has also a gastric cancer we didn’t know her illness is already in stage 4 😢she lost weight so fast i never forget when her cancer attack her it was during mid night of chinese new yr but before chinese new year i already had a dream that our table is empty we only buy food instead of preparing ...when we bring to hospital the doctor refuse to do surgery as it’s already complicated but the husband never give up on her when i hug her i cried like river coz i feel like holding her is like holding a paper😢 then the husband search the best doctor everywhere and travel just to do surgery for his wife...thank god the surgery is successful and she on the way to recovery ❤

but im so disappointing with storyline and the ending. I feel bad for the doctors and his daughter, they are really sincere toward fl and also they are who felt so sad when the fl has suffers with her illnes until she died.
I prefer the FL got divorce then focus in her treatment maximally eventough doctors said there's no hope, but at least before she died, she could life happily with people who really care her the most like doctors. He more deserve got FL love rather than her husband.
That 2 mothers really didn't deserve called mother, Monster more suitable for them.

This was such a chaotic and brutal drama all through out. The fl never got appreciated and loved until the last minutes of the drama. There were so many emotions in this drama. The ml didn’t appreciate the fl at all. He was emotionally cheating but never physically I think from the subtitles. The 2nd fl didn’t want the ml and even told him that his wife is a good wife and to cherish her but he didn’t. He let his sister and mom torture her. The only love she got was from a old classmate and his daughter. It’s a pity that even at the end of her life she felt a little love from only her daughter and husband. Life is full of regrets but don’t make or try to save something or someone that brings you down. Having self respect, dignity and financial stability will help you through your life then any relationship can. Some relationships fizzle out, while others are life long but when you love yourself and set boundaries and are self sufficient the right people will be in your life because you chose those people and set standards. The actors all did an amazing job but this was a lot of mental and physical abuse. My ears hurt 😂 anyways it was a good drama with a good message at the end. ❤

Warning to all, the first half will piss you off! (I didn't know who to hate more, the ml and his family or the fl's family.) This girl had it bad at every turn. The only bit of light she had was the friend and his daughter.
