This story is so ridiculous. So he spent the first half abusing her etc. After finding out the truth, he is sad and remorseful. She comes back with their kid, and he wants to be back together with her. Let’s forget all about the SML who was with FL the whole time, supported her, and helped to take care of her child. All it takes for the FL to accept ML back is for him to play puppy dog and give some nonsense about how he has always loved her and is so sorry. Cue SFL plotting against FL and the cliched ending of her kidnapping the child, and they need to go rescue him. I don’t know what’s up with these dramas but they need to get rid of these kidnapping endings. They’re unnecessary. FL takes the ML back after all the abuse she suffered back then. To me, it doesn’t matter that he felt remorseful. The damage has already been done. Forcing a happy ending just so the ML and FL can play happy house is unrealistic as hell. Tired of these kinds of scripts.

How does he transfer his love so easily?

ML was crazy. He emotionally cheated, physically abused her, tormented her, disrespected her, and then had the utter audacity to seek revenge on everyone who hurt her except himself. She had to fake death to escape him, then he is so obsessed and finds out she's alive and cause he can't live without her threatens others to force her to return to him. She told him they were through, and his response was I'll let you think about it. She looked panicked and afraid of him but that clearly didn't matter... he's crazy. ML turned over a new leaf but I wouldn't have been able to forgive all the crap he'd done early on.
The FL is the crazy one. China is a huge country; she didn't have to return to the same city but could have happily lived with her child far far away from him. Instead she chose to return right where the abuser lived, making it easier for him to find her.
The FL is stupid to take hm back .The female villain is more strong an$ fought for hat she wanted but in the wrong way . I don’t understand why majority of the FL are portrayed stupid going back to their abuser. Are there no female script writers to protect thi# female leads 🤣.

I think they are trying to say you can’t force romantic love. Notice, even though these men have these evil side chicks hanging all over them, the majority of the time, the men don’t see them as romantic partners. And, even when they do, they usually refrain from having sex with them. But, they can’t help themselves when around their wives.
In the original version of this story, the 2ML did actually use the evil girl to help make the FL leave with him. He told her where the embryos were so she could traumatise the FL and he manipulated some other things as well so that the wife would think him a hero who saved her. He’d been in love with her since college but always lost out to the jerk husband.
He wants to get revenge on everyone who hurt her.. can he take the worst revenge on himself first? The most hurtful things are from the ones u love the most. He doesn’t deserve forgiveness even if he get stabbed.. Like another show I watched.. he got stabbed and she walked over him without looking back saying ( it’s time for u to feel the pain u gave to me) then he watched her disappear. Best ending I’ve ever seen
I noticed the 2nd ML he is also good at acting and of course the FL she delivered her dialogue naturally with a matching emotion.. to top it all they are commendable.. Congratulations..

I wondered the same but watched a drama previously that kind of implied that it's a Buddhist concept, especially strong in China that if someone saves your life you have a moral obligation to be responsible for theirs, so this is just amplifying it for the sake of a drama

Actually, this version is much better than the other one I saw. The ML did a great job of showing his remorse and regrets. He took revenge to another level, compared to the other one. Everyone did an excellent job at acting out their characters. The only thing that's I got to say is, if the FL really wants to get off the radar of being discovered, she should opt to getting plastic surgery to look different. But you know that ain't going to happen, and she will be bullied again by her ex to be in his control.
In real life how can not remember the abuse every time you are with this man. I think that you will feel afraid on all actions that resemble to his previous physical abuse. This is non sense. Also for abuse dramas, abusers always feel sad and say they loved the FL when they lost her... definitely not because they love her but primarily they lost the person accepting the abuse and the lost the power over their victim. They don't love them because if they do they will not hurt that person. Don't get me started for leaving the 2ml back to ML. He save her and became her husband for 5 years and just leave like that. I cant hate that she forgave him. He did the work to be forgiven. Finally a drama that unferstood the assignment. Instead of forgiveness the last 3 seconds because be took a knife for her, they kept them together for a while and he proved to her he wont hurt her again

They took this plot and revamped it; I remember watching the “original” about 1-2 year(s) ago(it was called ___ Wife, I can’t recall the full since it’s been so long), the production on it wasn’t very good, had a lot of cuts, sound issues etc. and the acting was stiff except for the little boy but it was pretty decent at that time. It’s nice to see them add more depth to it, switch it around, add decent background(s) that match, have some decent actor(s) and actresses. The “original” was the second short drama, although they advertised it as a movie, I seen… it basically lead me down genre. It’s pretty toxic in the first half so if you don’t like toxic then it’s best to skip it.
The most ridiculous thing in these kind of plot is they question "why you leave me like this?" When he abused her a long time and she still back with him at the end 🌚
"I'll treat you better in the future, I'll give you everything!" What for? She's already dead. Tell it to the marines. When she was alive, how did you treat her?
The ML is one of my favorites. He is so talented in his acting and so handsome. The first half of the plot I skipped because there is abuse. Writers need to go back and give us a good plot but I can't deny the acting is on point.

O casal protagonista é fantástico a interpretação deles me emocionaram e conquistaram são lindos talentosos maravilhosos. A criança é demais talentoso e merece uma atenção especial pela sua atuação. I cant hate that she forgave him. He did the work to be forgiven. Finally a drama that unferstood the assignment. Instead of forgiveness the last 3 seconds because be took a knife for her, they kept them together for a while and he proved to her he wont hurt her again
the plot is good but sometimes the misunderstood very hard but the truth come rinally and get win, congrats to all actors and actresses especially the main actor and actress ❤❤❤❤❤ good job

They took this plot and revamped it; I remember watching the “original” about 1-2 year(s) ago(it was called ___ Wife, I can’t recall the full since it’s been so long), the production on it wasn’t very good, had a lot of cuts, sound issues etc. and the acting was stiff except for the little boy but it was pretty decent at that time.
It’s nice to see them add more depth to it, switch it around, add decent background(s) that match, have some decent actor(s) and actresses.
The “original” was the second short drama, although they advertised it as a movie, I seen… it basically lead me down genre.
It’s pretty toxic in the first half so if you don’t like toxic then it’s best to skip it.

The ML is one of my favorites. He is so talented in his acting and so handsome. The first half of the plot I skipped because there is abuse. Writers need to go back and give us a good plot but I can't deny the acting is on point.
Suppose a guy got saved by a man or a older lady, would they get married to them too? What kind of craziness is this?? You can always be thankful to them, other than that, getting married only because they saved you is just pure nonsense.
