More precision about the game that I’ve managed to learn for people who didn’t get everything : Gameplay is not like a musou like DQ Heroes, far less enemy on the map and no light + heavy combos but only a basic combo with 3 normal attacks and you can also use 3 skills with 1 special moves (everything can be changed so you can easily make your own « build ») it is really close to some mobile action rpg like Bleach brave souls. Combat system is simple but you can however use guard and make perfect counter, you can also dodge/dash and make perfect dodge. I think the key here is to dodge at the good time and punish the boss with your skills by breaking their « armor gauge » Character like Popp can charge magic power and reduce the cooldown of his spell (we saw that on last year gameplay video, maybe he can’t block/guard but instead he can charge magic). Hyunckel awakening is not only a power boost like Dai, but he will also put on his magic armor (sword and spear) so might be the only « transformation » in the game. Spells like Raidein (thunder) or Hyado (ice) can inflict statut element, we saw Crocodine slowing down and Flazzard paralysed, really interesting to see if it will be similar to Genshin Impact. Story mode is divided into main mission (chapters that follow the anime globally until episode 41, with different goals, beating boss, monsters, 3D cutscenes or anime screenshot) and secondary mission (non-canon mission where you can setup your own team/skills and complete some random mission for fun and farming some rewards Temple of recollection is the secondary game mode. It is a dungeon crawling mode (almost rogue-like) with random generated room where you had to defeat monsters and boss. The interesting thing is that you can choose to leave or continue your progression in order to earn more reward, but if you die, you lose everything. The main reward of every mission in the game is Memory Bond : cards with different rarity and Manga art, it contains various stats boost (it is basically accessories/equipment from any rpg but with some fan service like voice acting and little special animation) Hope it will help you decide if the game is worth playing or not. Imo if you are not a Dai’s fan, there are a lot of more ambitious action rpg with better combat system bur overall, seems to be a good anime game comparing to the industry standard.
@@wolfan20is that confirmed?? The trailer show game play all the way to when Baran is fighting Dai. Plus why wouldn't they just do the whole game? The anime finished months ago
@@GothamThotSlayer The previous interview about the game that it reaches until Dai's fight against super demon Hadlar, that marks the half of the whole story.
Great anime at the very least... I need to see more gameplay and whether or not they are finishing the story for the game or it will be dlc or a part 2.
Ngl this is some disappointing gameplay. The user interface looks like it’s from a mobile game, and the world map lacks flair. This seems to be a Musou Warriors style game, with some clear inspiration from the latest Zelda and Fire Emblem warriors games. The anime stills mid battle shows that budget and time were both low here. Still have hope but games looks stiff af 😢
Hopefully it opens up with more progression, because games like DMC, Ninja Gaiden or even Lollipop Chainsaw don't open up it's combat until you got some progress. A demo would really help though for more info on the combat.
My first Dragon Quest game ever that I'm going to play
I thank Jump Force the day I met Dai
Dang bro.. if you want to get into dragon quest you should try 11.
Dai and Pop's gameplay are outstanding.

I hope they announce the second part soon, cuz leaving the story halfway done is a crime for this series.
wym a second part? in the trailer theres Maam with martial arts outfit fighting the supreme being.
@@elitenoob1 The game only reaches till Dia's first fight against super Hadlar, half the story.
@wolfan20 the game isn't out though.

Combat looks barebones
This Shonen series deserves more love
Awesome! Definitely gonna try this out on launch day
I don’t know anything about Dragon Quest or Infinity Strash but i love action games like this. Should i still buy this game? Want people opinions.

Love the energy
Man I wish they make a Saint Seiya game that looks like this
Lightening reflexes!
Image if they put this much effort into a Dragon Ball (kid goku version) game
You call this effort? All he’s doing is fighting the entire time
Yo what happened to your old content, like those dbz ultimate compilations?
Seems that there’s only one attack button for combos…
Is it me or they are now starting playing on Xbox? It's weird, no playstation.
Earlier they were playing on ps4
Xbox finally getting jrpg love
The controls are very similar to those of Nintendo
Only fights?
Textos traducidos en español en la edición física de Japon?
I think this look like trials of mana
Where's my Tenkaichi 4 info?
Hopefulyl at summer game fest on June 8th
You’ll never get it

Still looks better than most "AAA" American games these days
