In Japan there's a DQ Wii game called Battle Road Victory. In the game the hero uses cards to summon monsters and other DQ characters. The Wii game is based off the DQ Arcade game that worked the same way. Players collect cards and use them on the game machine. Each card has its own little 'summon' and that's where all the cool clips come from.
Hero 1: Beat the shit out of a dragon. Hero 2: Destroyed the God of Destruction. Hero 3: Pierced the eternal night with an oversized gemstone. Hero 4: Destroyed the very secret to evolution itself. Hero 5: Destroyed a demonic cult. Hero 6: Turned a rusty sword into the blade of evil's bane. Hero 7: Repaired the world after a fight between God and Satan. Hero 8: Destroyed a ginormous demon sealed within a scepter. Hero 9: Destroyed a fallen angel. Hero 10: Destroyed the Lord of Hell.
When Nine threw the sword into the giant sword and it went in slow motion I got goosebumps I must say that was my favorite part because when the music builds up it goes with him
Shrek may have used the song, but this is a song by Bonnie Tyler from the eighties. I think it was first released on the Footloose soundtrack. However the one used in this video sounds like a cover version.
Yeah, fuck Shrek. I mainly associate this song from Short Circuit 2. But yeah, I do know it was a preexisting 80s song before a bunch of movies started using it.
Joshua Fogg so far it's 10 or 11 games I have played just 2, but they are sooper fun and they all have grate storylines. My favorite is 9, that was the one with the train and the big sword that fell from the sky.
Just discovered this video... it's one of the best things I've seen all year!
Man that timing on 2:46 AMAZING!!!

Aw, thanks! I made this over a decade ago! That really brightens my day that you said that!

"Hero 9" literally destroyed Satan.
Justus White don't forget hero 1 did it by himself
Raptor Jesus If you want to get technical so did Hero 7. After restoring the entire world one continent at a time.
How very mature. Insult a character that did the same thing the character you like did both first and better.
You're being way too serious about this.
I think this was an absolutely amazing AMV Jessica. You did osme good work. Good song and great video.
Yay you used a Shrek song. This is my all time favorite Shrek song so thanks :D
simply magical
I'm still watching this video. XD
Graet video . Love the DQ series. As for song, Holding Out For a Hero, the original was by Bonnie Tyler. 1985.
This made my day
When Nine threw the sword into the giant sword and it went in slow motion I got goosebumps I must say that was my favorite part because when the music builds up it goes with him
It's just... Epic.

I like this song
Authentic Heros
@Dinnos100 It's one of my favorite songs too! Shrek 2 is also a fav movie of mine
Where'd you get the photo on 0:20?
I'm thinking of making a Dragon Quest video too, using some Tchaikovsky.
@SuperCyberTv LOL! The song is from Shrek 2. I said so in the credits. Yes we have Shrek in the US
This so h isn't a shrek song! It's actually by Bonnie Tyler but they made a remake of it and put it in shrek. Btw which dragon quest game is this?
Was this an anime? If not, it should be.
It was a video game. Japan-only for the Wii. I heard someone was working on an English patch, but I haven't heard much of it since.

Where are the Chad Hero mains?
Maining Erdrick, Luminary and Eight (fuck solo)
Reminds me of shrek for some reason. ( im not sure if you have it in the states)
Can I use the song ?
Sure. It's from the second Shrek movie.
@JessicaAlbert13 *facepalm*
I need a heroin XD
All I can say is you have to much time
