Vans RV 10 build update - Doors Part 1. Sanding, Sanding, Sanding Oh MY. I finally started on the doors, my understanding is this takes 75 - 100 hours (the dreaded doors) but in this video I go over the initial cuttings for the doors and initial fit. To cut out the window openings i did create a bit of a jig (just strips of aluminum) to help make out where the windows needed to be cut and marks for the cleco holes and final window trim later.
The majority of my time was cutting and sanding the door opening in the canopy top to allow for the initial fit.

Thanks Norm, Actually its getting real - the doors are a major milestone as it really does basically complete the major portion of the shell of the plane . Wings are next and should be here within a month.
