Finally, a true dual set up, most people think they can put a y pipe where its easy and run 2 lines from there is dual on youtube... This a quality set up, I am sure this was pricey. :) Good job.
X-PIPE THE WORLD!!! It sounds so good👍🏼 I had a 2000 F150 XLT 5.4L V8 with PI heads, did full exhaust work just like this but with Magnaflow Magnapacks. Didn’t have as much growl as this, it had a lot deeper tone because Magnaflow, but the Modular motors LOVE to snap/crackle/pop like Rice Krispies.👌🏼
I have a 2000 F150 XLT 5.4 engine. Once I get the engine up to par, I can’t wait to overhaul the exhaust system. I want my baby to roar when she starts and purr when she runs.
I have an 01 lariat myself, I am trying to find what the difference is between an X-pipe, an H-pipe, And true individual pipes, is there a significant difference in the popping sound with an X-pipe vs true straights?
@@JoseMora-wd5pg Tips can slightly, but only at startup and idle. You could try running a different muffler or straight pipe, hell maybe some long tubes perhaps?
Dual as u see here is best. If u run it like this u add 8-10hp and better sound, due to less restriction and exhaust scavenging, basically the flow from one side helps the engine breath better by creating less backpressure to the other side.
Not into the exhaust noises, but the headlights and taillights I am interested in -got item descriptions, part numbers, retailers for the lights? Thanks.
I don’t have a part#. They are Amazon specials. I wouldn’t recommend the headlights, fitment not great and already showing signs of lenses melting from lights.
I have a question I have a 2010 Ford F-150 v8 5.4 triton but I can’t decide what exhaust system to put on there I want something that’s gonna be loud and aggressive any opinions
Is it stock right now? Try cutting off the muffler, clamp on a glasspack (Thrush are a good, inexpensive choice) and a 45 degree pipe out the side in front of the rear tire. Cheap, loud and simple, and you can easily change it if you don't like it.
@@Unite-4-Peace Not necessarily, the venturi principle states that air moves faster in a restricted space, like putting your thumb over the end of a garden hose. If your pipe is too large for the engine displacement and output the velocity decreases, so in some cases the crossover pipe is reduced in order to promote exhaust pull/scavenging through the crossover pipe. If the pipe is sized correctly then it doesn't need to be reduced.
Sounds even better today, and got a MPG gain! Thanks again for the GREAT work. Couldn’t be more happier!

Sounds good under load but not revving in neutral imo
Those mandrel bends are pretty lookin.
Gonna be picky on my next exhaust setup.. gotta have mandrel bends

Thats s nice truck, sounds great.
should of had the light bulb on the passenger airbag circuit changed instead
Really nice I like it a lot
It's okay to true dual ford f150 triton's, but not so much with ram's if you ask me
You weren't asked...TO BE HONEST! lol
My local muffler shop would charge me 100 dollars more for this work and their install would looks half as good as this one. Good job 👏

I have a question
So i have a 2003 ford f150 5.4L no cats, true dual with a super 10
If i add and X-pipe would it make it louder?
Maybe not louder, but def better performance with a X-Pipe
Would have a higher pitched tone, and refinement at higher rpms. Not quite as deep as Y/H.
Thank you fpr the replies
I want to keep the depper tone like it os now but at the same time i want it louder
Do Tips make a difference?
@@JoseMora-wd5pg Tips can slightly, but only at startup and idle. You could try running a different muffler or straight pipe, hell maybe some long tubes perhaps?
Long tube headers a cold air intake and some wider pipes is how you make it louder my friend. Also true dual straight pipes.
O man , that is wicked 😳
Cool 😎
Can I request you remove the xpipe and make the tips 90°s? I still like it tho

What kind of headlights and grill ?
What is causing the popping noise when you let off the gas on that car?
What tire and rims size is that

@@AdmiralRustyShackleford yea it is stocked right now I my try that
AWSOME
Could be wrong, but I thought TRUE duals are when the pipes don’t connect
You're not wrong
True dual just means it doesn't run a single pipe, if there's 2 pipes it's true dual, even if it has a crossover/balance/merge point somewhere in it.
