So I was talking to a company that does custom controllers. I wanted them to do a wooden controller scheme for GameCube controllers, but they said not many people play GC anymore so they don't do them... I wish they'd understand that the Smash community is so big that it is single handedly keeping the GC alive... *sigh*

The most suspenseful part of this set was the part when a giant red box covered my screen as I stared excitedly at a very close match saying "CLICK HERE FOR SET 2." Bless you, lord GimR.
Sure M2K could've gone sheik but his sheik matches were pretty much as clutched as his marth matches. And I'm pretty sure a character change wouldn't have thrown off a Player of Mang0's caliber.
It would've, he already 3-0'ed Mang0 with sheik. I like how you're making it sound like Mang0's caliber is actually higher than M2K when M2K is equal if not even better. M2K himself said he sticked to marth because hes more fun to play, if he wasn't looking for fun and just concerned about winning we would've seen different results.

Mango just typically goes with fox or falco. but their winning rates against one another is probably 50/50 when they're both serious.

It's normally who's best on any given day, but during these sets it's who's best at any given moment during a match. These games were just as close as the other set, so punishes dictated the outcome. Character choice didn't have too much to do with it.
This is my feeling both M2k and Mango deserved to be in finals over everyone else. I personally wanted m2k to win but mango did deserve it after 4 stocking leffen again. P.s. Leffen will never beat m2k or mango
***** to be fair, fox vs peach is a decent matchup for fox. Like in comparison to fox vs Mango's spacies or m2k's marth/sheik. Armada is amazing but playing fox, Armada and Hungrybox should be the easiest of the gods to play against. In terms of character match up.

Mew2king - some obvious constructive criticism. game 1, 0:50, 2:45. game 3, 7:34, 8:40...every time you fail to regrab, you try to DD grab mangos bair. Mango bair's EVERYTIME without fail in that situation, but spaces it so that he catches ur DD grab. DD grab will work against 95% of players in that scenario, who dont space properly, but mango never falls for it. Note this, and opt for a CC, or maybe even a counter if you're near the ledge. Also, every time u uair him, and he jumps out and u try to uair again but he times his fall so that ur second uair is late, and he bairs u. Note this. To all the scrubs who are going to say why i dare criticize m2k... relax. I understand how great he is. Just pointing out certain things i think he can work on vs mango in specific.

Can we just get Infinity to commentate ssbm matches as well (since he was so good in the ssbpm videos from this tourney)? These guys were both pure hype engines that didn't actually offer any technical breakdowns of the play going on. One hype engine is fine, but you need at least one announcer analyzing play.
