Nice vid bro! Just figured I’d give you a little history, about 10 miles northwest of Cumberland is a town called Mount Savage. This is where the very first iron rail was ever made in the United States was ever made back in 1844. The old furnace is still in town, it has fallen in and began to decay over the years.
Nice job bro! I stop In Cumberland every summer on my way to Deep Creek Lake to check the Station out I have yet to see the 1309 but there is always something interesting going on when stopping through.
Awesome video! I’m hoping to head up to Cumberland on Monday to go to foley overlook! If you go to the Cumberland area next time I recommend going to Fairhope and around there, it’s really cool to see the trains climb the sand patch!
I live here and we have the most absurd train routes its a small town and train runs through the busiest parts and you constantly have to reroute unless u want to wait forever guess some ppl woukd like it tho lol
Holy crap! Im a rail fan! I had no idea. Salute. Im going to Cumberland just to see this
