Just bought one of these for £7 from eBay and this video is far better than the Chinglish instructions that came with it! I can't believe it actually works!!!!!
I found mine at a second hand store (thrift shop) for a few dollars. A rare find at places like that. It will sound off if ANY radio frequency signals are detected. I drove by a hospital and it went nuts. RF signals abound near it. It alerts on my cell phone, the charging cables, anything WIFI, my wireless surveillance cameras (home security), RC toys, etc. I have yet to test it on vehicles equipped with GPS trackers (active and passive) and LoJack systems. It definitely is worth testing for that type of equipment.

Sellers pay companies for loads of fake reviews, both good and bad. They get a bunch of fake good reviews, at the same time smearing the competition with bad ones. It’s really popular in Asia and apparently making it’s way over here.
How far is the range on this one?? For security cameras across the street and in the backyard. Will it also pick up on listening devices?? You said it picks up on Wi-Fi so if I pointed at a particular security camera are you saying if they have Wi-Fi in that particular room right below the security camera it’s going to go off anyway??

Thank you for the video, I found it more helpful than others! It went off when pointed to a wall, what does this mean? How could there be something in the wall itself? Also, it went off around two other places, and then when I went back to check, it didn't. But it still goes off around my wifi router, for example. Does this mean it was a false positive or that if there was something, it could have been turned off remotely because I was checking? It doesn't seem to detect my phone camera - does that one have to be on to be detected?
So if a camera is in an appliance, say a clock or coffee maker in a hotel it's gonna get the same RF whether it's there or not? But the LED light with red/rose lens will show me the camera lens? So why not just use my LED flash light and a colored lens?

GPS as in sat nav receives only. That's the most common form of GPS system. GPS spy devices on the other hand will use RF to transmit data to the spy which would be something like a SIM900 so work on GSM frequencies using a mobile SIM card.
That'd be scary if you were messing around with it. And then you actually find a hidden camera in your place. . This is why I got one. Way to paranoid.
I think motion detectors output a signal, my radar detector in my car goes off when I drive by a place with the automatic doors. It will detect things that only emit a signal. I'm no expert though.

Not all hidden cameras have internet connection. It could store recording locally on SD card or embedded memory. Can this device detect such hidden camera?

An RFID can be turned on and off if it is designed that way. Usually RFID chips always remain on. To turn it on/off, you need to have a microcontroller to control what the RFID does.
The compass is there as a indicator against magnets. Many devices uses a magnet to latch on, in example a car GPS tracker. It`s not really usable in most or probably all cases, but in theory the compass can be used for this purpose.

I like to look up the products on different search engines to see if there are hidden reviews, like a military grade flashlight sold here on RUclips. They are even backed by PayPal, but it’s a scam. They have loopholes on returns and a deal with PayPal to deny refunds. The contact info on the order was to their complaint department! Then when I searched them on duck duck go, the first site was a complaint forum with 611 complaints from the last 3 months. I thought PayPal was a safe option, till I got burned by this company. That’s how I found out about all these fake reviews and loopholes companies use to sell cheap products...
This thing Picks up any random RF and electrical voltage by outlets even metal objects. The camera LED function is a joke and does not work. I have 2. Do not buy it.
