Paona Brajabasee

Life History of Paona Bajrabasi and Khonjom War against British. Paona Bajrabasi was acourageous patriot and a skilled sword fighter who could cut the whip of bomb. The British Govt. declared war against Manipur on 31st of March 1891. The Maharaja appointed Subedar Paona Brajabasi and Chongtha Mia Singh to the post of majors and 400 soldiers under two majors were re-enforced to resist the British troops from Burma.
