- This one is the 5th and final part of the Northbound Border to Border series in which I head north from the Maple Leaf District up to the very edges of the city of Shoreline. I started this series 15 miles south in February and have finished it, in 3-mile legs, here in October. Seattle is a very north-south oriented city because Puget Sound/Salish Sea borders the west and Lake Washington borders the east. The only ways to grow was north/south, or up. I had fun with this series because it went through so many neighborhoods along the way and I got to show off the seasons in each one. Enjoy!

Thanks for watching!
I especially like this one since you are near where I grew up. If you take a right at 125th you go down the hill to Lake City. ❤ On the left at 36:02 is St Matthew's school. If you take a right at the Redfin sign you will arrive at my elementary school. Jackson Park is where I learned to play golf ⛳️. At 45:30 is Caroline's Tavern. Sad to see buildings near 145th boarded up. 😢 The Burger King at 51:30 is where I had my first Whopper.
Ramblin' Man, thank you for another vicarious experience on the streets of Seattle!
