Great review bro, hit all the main points. The "plasticky" sound which is what I call it comes from the holes cutting the wind, if you take the wheel in hand and blow air from the position that they face the wind you will hear it. A yr. ago when I started to test them that was one of the things that caught my attention and took me a while to figure out. However till this day the wheels don't and won't come off my board. I never looked into using another urathane wheel. "Respect" Brotha!
Bro, it’s absolutely an amazing wheel! I can’t think of any problems or cons with it at all, the traction and comfort is superior to none! Glad I got the chance to test them out! Looking forward to putting a lot of miles on them!
These wheels have gotten so much hype over the past few weeks and they absolutely deserve it. The price is lower than it should be for the performance they offer and I would suggest that they need to be anyone's first purchase if they are looking to modify their board.
I got these and I notice the pitch of the hum changes with speed but it never goes away. I think it is the wind. It is easier to hear when someone else is accelerating away from you as you stand stationary.
⚡ *Hottest wheels in the game, glad everyone is "gettin on board" with it!* ⚡ I was surprised how much I like them, still get nice road feel, doesn't numb the ride, just makes it butter!! 🤙🏼🤙🏼 Nice to see Mad esk8 doin well on their own without the Verreal collab. I love my blue caguamas but these are perfect for the low-ridin dkp and tkp boards. Even though they are 65mm wide, the contact patch bein around 43mm keeps it so nimble for a big wheel, curved/rolled edges are great for rough roads and helps reduce likelihood of chunkin. Even though they're big, they are so much lighter than wheels that size, best of both 👌🏼 $99 promo price was extended a bit longer so great for buyers! Great review dude, covered everythin 👏🏼👏🏼
I sold a bunch of wheels to Verreal in exchange for their help with the wheel manufacturer. Verreal being in China is better equipped to handle international orders. MAD ESK8 fulfills orders in the states.
Greeaaaaat review vid. U read my mind of wat I am looking for. Want sum 100-105mm street wheels for my voyager x.(once I get my replacement charger) ❤️❤️🤜👊. Luv the BF 96mm. Want something close.
Softer, these are rubber the cloudwheels are nice but these have way more squishy feeling than the cloudwheels. I like my cloudwheels as well but for “suspension” these are really crazy plush and great grip because of the rubber compound. Really appreciate the compliment my man! I’ve been taking to the owner of the hollow wheels, trying to get a set for review! Please if you haven’t yet subscribe to the channel and give the video a thumbs up! More content coming out soon!
@Drew Elia I decided to go with the Hollow Wheel Comforts. It is a pre-order atm, with shipping near the end of January. If you buy now though, you get a decent discount. I went with two abec and two kegel style with a 4 pack of the adjustable suspension inserts. There are little weights that you can add/remove to customize to one's riding preference. Pretty stoked to get them in and test them out!
The grip of these is superb. Cloud wheels are nice but in different style these wheels are grippy the range is amazing, I’ve hit high speed with them I truly love them overall!
These wheels are brilliant and don’t eat up as much range as the AT set ups but give you awesome torque and high end speed. I host group rides which are 15 miles in range and I’ve come back with 1 bar down out of four and still rode around for weeks with out charging and getting plenty of power. Saw your comment on my other video, really appreciate you checking ask the videos out. A lot of work goes into these!
I believe at this time I was still in my factory bushings. Since than I’ve switched to the riptide meepo hurricane set up, like night and day difference!
I have 105mm Cloudwheels on my Backfire Zealot. Do you think these are better and if so worth switching to? Are they marginally better? I have been having range anxiety with the cloudwheels lately. Will these provide range similar to say the original 96mm PU wheels (about 17 miles)?
I’m honestly not sure about the range aspect of it but o believe it is lighter than the 105 cloudwheels thus causing less need to push it harder giving you more range. The grip is absolutely insane on these wheels as well, can’t recommend them enough for that reason alone. If you find the channel helpful or entertaining please consider subscribing it helps out so much!
@@DrewElia Alright, subscribed! That asbury park ride looked interesting, I gotta ride out there one day. My guess is the momentum hollow wheel pro would be grippier, because of the formula race car guy that designed them, but what do I know? We’ll have to wait & see which are grippier & more comfortable, when you do a comparison video, can’t wait! 🛹
Two different feels, mad105 have great grip and a stiffer feel to them. Even with their holes drilled out of them but they have great range. Overall mad wheels are my favorite street wheel that I’ve tried
No noob questions! So if you have the belt drive system potentially you could out these on, you might need risers pads so you don’t get wheel bite but I’m not 💯 sure on that. They are great wheels and really do change up the feel of everything. If you enjoyed the video give it a thumbs up and subscribe to the channel!
I haven’t test the 105 meepo wheels, the 110 cyclone wheels I have and in that case I would go with the Mad105 I just like the little bit more range you get out of it and the grip is fantastic
@DrewElia so they are nearly Equallly good….then i think you should/could have mentioned this fact in the video. I mean the meepo wheels only cost 80 dollars or in black 100 dollars, so they are cheaper……
No, the cyclones are rubber material. Very very squishy and can wear away quicker over time. The mad 105 are street style urethane. Harder compound, I wouldn’t go off roading with the mad wheels, but the 110 can take a lot of n crack vibration away. Two totally different uses. I should have said that I suppose. Also when I made this video they weren’t cheaper, the 110 where $100 or maybe even more at that point
I always wear a helmet and now with beyond riders jeans I have knee and hip protection as well, plus I never rider outside my comfort zone and if I do, I wear my full gear set Up. But I appreciate your concern!
These wheels look class! Also can’t wait to see your street wheel ASMR channel once it goes live! 😜🤙
Haha the soothing sounds of dirty bearings and squishy tires! 😂

Couldn’t agree more!
Ordered a Verreal RS with these wheels, first E board at 67! SUBSCRIBED!!! :)
Thank you so much and really appreciate the sub! You won’t be disappointed with the wheels they are amazing!!!
Absolutely gotta agree with you Drew, these wheels are INSANE! Love the "Wheel Wednesday" idea, looking forward to that weekly segment!
Thanks much and your right these wheels are insane! I dont know about weekly! But I’ll try my best to give you content on wheel Wednesday

Yeah, I agree! I think it has to be the wind, not something I honestly care that much about but it’s something to note!
Thanks for this video !!! Just ordered mine and my new meepo Hurricane and new riptide bushings ;)
Glad you enjoyed it my dude! Subscribe if you dig the content! Hope you used my code on the hurricane to save some money!

Would love to see a version for hub motors!
These are one of the best street wheels I’ve ever ridden. I to would love to have them as a donut for hub wheels

You're crankin these videos out! Niceee
Thanks my dude
I'm about to finally try these outs in about 30 minutes. Super hyped
Yes!!!!!! Let me know what you think bro!!
how does it compare to 105mm cloud wheel in term of comfort?

Range test on the the Hurricane? Somewhere between the 90mm and the pneumies?

Blow on a pop bottle at the right angle
Where do i find out what parts i need to swap these onto my ares acedeck x1 belt that has offroad tires? Noob problems, lol
You just need pulleys and the proper belts, 32t 36t or 40t pulleys and than proper belts pending which one you go with Mboards website has these
@DrewElia cool, yeah they came with pulleys but no belts
Is this rubber or urethane?
Street wheels, its a urethane, but grips like rubber

Thanks for stopping by and checking out the video! Make sure to like the video and subscribe if you haven’t already!!
Are these urethane or rubber? If you have a hub drive, is it better to have more grip in the front or rear?
These only work with belt drive systems sadly.
@@DrewElia Thanks! Do you know if they are urethane or rubber?
@@DrewElia you can always add two wheels to the non hub trucks, so I wonder if grip is more important in the front or rear.
I hope to see 120 clouds on the channel. I want a wheel that i can cruise in but not kill range. Really considering these for zealot s
I did a review on the brand new 110 rovers from cloud wheels they are very nice as well check out the channel!
