  • What is Behavior? What does Behavior mean? Understanding Human Behavior (Meaning and Definition) is of great value to all Spiritual Truth Seekers in this modern age. Please enjoy this short video in simple English where we describe, explain, and define what Behavior Means.
The meaning of behavior is the actions and mannerisms made by individuals in conjunction with themselves, others, or their environment. A person's behavior includes their conduct, demeanor, attitude, nature, presence, role, etiquette, habits, and decorum. In phycology, human behavior is thought to be shaped by psychological traits as personality types vary from person to person producing different desires, actions, and motivations. Behavior modification is possible and accessible to all those who truly desire it and are willing to put in the time and effort. The problem is that behavior is programed and rooted deep within the subconscious mind, as the ego is programed and influenced throughout life by external influences. These become automatic habitual tendencies. Behavior change is greatly aided by spiritual driven development with the main function of letting go of negative behavior functions, problems, attitudes, and destructive personality traits. Behavior and personality go hand in hand, and to have a more peaceful, content, and happy personality will require the undoing, or purification of the negative aspects of the ego mind. Your behavior will determine your life, so letting go of mindless, reckless, unacceptable, and extreme behavior will greatly improve the quality of your life, and state of mind. Behavior adjustments will occur naturally on the spiritual path as you seek to transcend the lower levels of consciousness. If you want to improve, personal and spiritual development works. The quest for spiritual Truth will lead one to higher and more acceptable behavior, that benefits yourself, others, and the whole world. The rewards of Meditation, Contemplation, Prayer, Study, Devotion, Surrender, Forgiveness, and Letting Go, as well as other practices are proven to improve behavior and quality of life. The ego thinking mind is not your true self. You are Pure, Loved, Divine, and Whole. Raise Your Level of Consciousness and Raise the World.

The behavior of others toward us always includes a hidden gift. Even if that behavior appears negative, there is something in it for us. Very often that something appears in the form of a signal to us to become more aware. Let’s say, for example, that somebody calls us “stupid.” Our natural response is one of anger. We can use the energy of that anger consciously: “What is that person asking me to become more aware of?” If we ask ourselves the question, we may come to the realization that we were being self-centered; we were being uncaring; we were failing to acknowledge them; and we were not being conscious and aware of what was going on in the relationship. If we constantly follow this procedure, we will come to the awareness that everyone in our life is acting as a mirror. They are really reflecting back to us what we have failed to acknowledge within ourselves. They are forcing us to look at what needs to be addressed. What aspect of our smaller self needs to be relinquished? This means that we have to constantly let go of our pride in order to undo anger, so that we can be grateful for the continual opportunities of growth with which we are presented in the course of everyday experience.
