    Autolaunch is one of the very best features of iNav - works really well for me on a variety of models

    I'd be tempted to set it up as a flying wing with 2 elevons and an elevator. That way I could get faster speed with a forward CG, as well as a crow mix for slow flight.

    Pretty complex flight system looks quick and nimble . Look forward to seeing it in the air . You have a blessed one my friend .

    Hi Andrew, You really should be using Link Quality and RF power on your OSD rather than analogue rssi..If you use auto ramping of RF it gives a good indication of your control link. Its all CRSF protocol....The rssi looked very wrong in the video...this is for the very old single wire rssi receiver's from years ago I think.....🤔😳😳🇬🇧

      Thanks for the reminder. Must have loaded my non-ELRS OSD.

      @@AndrewNewton Ah, you loaded your OSD via the CLI....!!....lol... CRSF link quality works way better and if you use RF auto ramping most of the time my Crossfire is running on a mere 25mw. Not sure how the 2.4g RXs compare TBH...be interesting to see it actually....🤔😳😀😀🇬🇧

    Very nice, thanks for sharing your settings. The original PID was too off. Could you please make a tutorial about the differential thrust settings with coordination roll mix? I believe this is the most neglected setup in INAV.

    • @AndrewNewton
      @AndrewNewton  Год назад +2

      Thanks. Diff thrust and roll? Might make INAV go nuts.

    Dshot 600 can cause issues at the start of the motors and during autolaunch. I was told to put it to dshot150.

    with (2) 4S will it still balance on the CG?? With motors in front it doesn't seem like it would?

    • @AndrewNewton
      @AndrewNewton  Год назад

      Would need tail weight to balance

      @@AndrewNewton Ok yeah I was afraid of that. That would be wasted weight on a plane so I hate to do that. Thanks for the help!!

    is this a good size to fly in a park or a small Club field?

    • @AndrewNewton
      @AndrewNewton  9 месяцев назад

      Perfect size and performance for that

    Any thoughts on correct inav battery settings?

      Probably needs calibrating same as the FC on the Swordfish

    But will it slope? I kid, of course it will. The ultimate thing AtomRC could do is release a nose like this one, but which can snap onto multiple models so you can move those expensive digital camera/vtxes between your Dolphin, Penguin, Swordfish, Manta, Tuna, Tilapia, etc.

    Mine was delivered with 3 bad servos. Would not recommend this product based on that.

      @@AndrewNewton Yea, I let it get to me. Im better now :).
      Because it was all 3 , i spent an hour trying to figure it out (assuming it was user error). I eventually tore apart a finished plane to get servos and they worked on the penguin. Then i tried the bad servos on the other plane and the penguin servos still were dead :).
      It’s been a tough build as I also ran into a dead radio (boxer) that could not be fixed ( i think it was a bad SD card reader). Ordered a tx16s, came with a broken antenna. The end of the flying season is coming for me, and I dont think I’ll be able to maiden this until March now.
