This is a really cool addition to your evil dead collection, you should create the holster that Ash uses in Evil Dead 2 to hold the shotgun, and the belt and hook Ash used to pull the pull chord that turns the chainsaw on

I searched through a LOT of tutorials for sawed off shotgun props but this one has to be the best, as always Odin DOES NOT disappoint!
When I was little boy (too young to have seen Mad Max II) I tried something...similar. Basically, I duct-taped together two pieces of copper pipe, then duct taped a piece of wood to the bottom, duct-taped on a brass ring (my dad was a plumber, so there was plenty of stuff lying around) and painted it all black. I'm sure it was a horrible disaster, but as a child, I thought it was every bit as bad-ass as yours!

Could you make a long version of a double barrel shotgun ( longer barrels, full shoulder stock ) ?
Rorschach's grappling gun would be really fun to make too. Could use abs plastic for the hooks and fashion a sort of hinge for them to open and close.

dude that would be boring there are plenty of videos on RUclips of people making them
diddy89king just thinking ahead with more and more conventions cracking down on swords and other plastic, wood and resin weapons how long before claws are banned
You could take some left over or scrap pvc from a previous project and take some smaller and make a orange plug to put in the end of the barrel so that way it can be removed for filming or pictures and can be put back for transport and conventions.

Excellent piece. I was planning on something similar for my wasteland garb, but I went with a repaint of a Dollar Store cowboy revolver due to time constraints. I left the orange tip intact so I wouldn't have to deal with headaches from the 5-0.
I may have to go ahead and do this now, because you can never have too many guns in the wasteland.
That's right! I almost wrapped hockey tape on the grip, but stopped because I had just hockey tapped the machete, and didn't want to do that same thing again.
I did some quick Fallout 4 guns for Smosh a few years ago. They were toys wrapped in sisal rope and burlap. Great fun!

you know what i like about these videos, these are what cosplay should look like, nowdays it's all about using 3D printing and buyin already made accessories
You know what funny to me? I have so little experience creating a 3D object in a program, it would literally take me longer to make a file, than to just make the damn prop!

Hey, this is Anthony, from ReadyComicsRoll. I've seen your build of Hellboy's Right Hand Of Doom, and it was very impressive, to say the least. It wasn't until recently though that I returned to your channel, and subscribed, as I'm in the process of trying to make a prop sawed-off myself, and this video is invaluable! I appreciate that you take the time to not only thoroughly explain your builds, as you are doing them, but the fact that you also provide your viewers with ALL of the information they might need or ask for, even down to where they can find the materials you've used for a build.
Now the prop I'll be making uses the longer stock, but this video has provided me with EVERYTHING I need to know to make it happen. Sadly, I don't have all of the tools you've used in this video, but I have a pretty good idea how I can still accomplish what I need to, just by watching you make it.

Not gonna lie, pretty good prop.
But would've been nice for it to open.
Kinda hard to make guns out of foam that open, I've tried myself, never made a proper one, and I tried like 5 times.
Heads up, the Evil Dead 2/Army of Darkness gun still had a stock. That aside, this is an awesome build.
I knew that, but... I like the movie too much to not use it again.

The way I make shotguns is with a firing pin, real metal, and real wood.
@Joel Banning You do not need to be a gunsmith to make a gun legally.
Do your home work. You can make real guns all day long at home you just can't sell them.

Recommendation for con goers building any firearm props...use nylon plastic screws ,when adding details. Much better and doesn't freak out the security when they use their wand detectors,lol.
