It’s been a few months since the last update for Planet Zoo, nothing new has been confirmed yet and I’m still waiting for them incorporate new a new DLC. If they do a final DLC, it should be a Zookeeper’s Favorite Animal DLC, a DLC that features a variety of fan favorites from both zoo lovers and zookeepers as well.
Kinda sounds like they should just do a primate pack that adds a ton of monkeys/lemurs and fixes the climbing behavior where tree dwelling animals stay on the ground. They don't need to move constantly in trees but they should be up there way more!
My Personal top wish would be a Shoebill Stork and Secretarybird! But my most likely guess for the next DLC: Mountain or "Rocky" PacK Markhor Bald Eagle/Bearded Vulture (Walktrough Exhibit) Сoati Walrus Golden snubbed-nose Monkey Pallas Cat (Manul) Giant Salamander (Exhibit)
in the arctic section id really want an atlantic puffin ! Id also like to see some kind of rabbit, whether its an arctic hare, cotton tail, jackrabbit etc ... and a scarlet ibis in south america
great selection, I absolutely agree with all the choices you made. specially agree with the primates, funny to realize how much such a complete game still lacks
I personally for the South American Exhibit animal would pick a Sloth of some description like the Brown-Throated Sloth, Linnaeus’s Two Toed Sloth or Pygmy Sloth instead of the Green Anaconda cause it’s just simply too big for even the walkthrough exhibits and add the Black Caiman. As for Oceania I’d add more animals like the ones you mentioned as well as the Kākāpō, Australian Pelican, Australian Freshwater Crocodile, Brushtail Possum, Another kind of Kiwi, Tiger Quoll and for the exhibit animal either the Frill Neck Lizard, Inland Taipan or Sydney Funnel Web Spider. As for the Arctic well uh yeah hard to add anything there except the Siberian Salamander in the exhibit. North America, add the Alligator Snapping Turtle, American Flamingo and American Crocodile and you’re good to go. Madagascar, YES. That’s all I have to say, no animals added just yes. India is great always wondered why the King Cobra was cast aside for a LEAF in the Southeast Asia Animal Pack. Himalayas… Yeah it’s like the arctic nothing to add here except like idk the Wild or Domestic Yak? There are too many animals to add for East Asia it’s such a diverse region but one I would add to the ones you said is Pete David’s Deer and Saola Antelope. Africa doesn’t need to many more but if I had to add to your roster it would be the Shoebill, African Leopard, Aardwolf and Brown Hyena, Greater Kudu and Giant Eland and some kind of Hartebeest as they’re kind of like the African Saiga, oh and the Black Mamba cause of course. And since you didn’t mention it I will, Antarctica is Leopard Seal, Emperor Penguin, Rockhopper Penguin, Wettle Seal and that’s all I have to say this time also none of us want this game to end but it will have to eventually, most of us love this game but we will eventually have to let it end also Anniversary Animal is the Hedgehog because why the bloody hell not.
My picks of animals for a final pack: Habitat: - American black bear - Elk - Olive baboon - Mallard - Masai giraffe - Nile Crocodile - Walrus Exhibit: - Five species of lovebirds
Surprised we haven’t heard anything on the last DLC yet, unless they’re holding out until the end of the year and maybe just maybe we’ll get an extra large animal pack. Maybe?
I do think they are holding out until the end of the year, that way they have time to formulate one big animal pack to send off Planet Zoo until the sequel

What else for the updates and foliage?
@@redpandareggie3642 I understood what you mean about too many animals in one DLC, but some of them are not requested as you're right, though some of them are. Some others, are what some peeps doubt it.
I would make the final pack by selecting the two most essential animals from each area/continent, and then add more to places that need additional support (ahem south america). I would take the coati and howler monkey from south america, the secretary bird and a baboon from africa, pallas cat and markour or blackbuck from asia, tree kangaroo and echidna for oceania, walrus and musk ox from arctic, and elk and maybe the puffin for north america, then i would go back and add more animals from places that need more support, like the soider monkey, tamandua, kinkajou, tamarin, andean and black bears, pelican, honey badger, shoebill, klipspringer, hyrax, sifaka or other lemurs, ocelot, coyote, prehensile or north american porcupine, green anacondas and king cobras, tanukis, and maybe a manatee or sea otter. Anyway, thats how i would do it but I guess we will have to see. (btw ik i forgot a lot but im not going to type for ages, so this is what i immediately thought of on the spot)
I have been dying to see manatees added but lately I thought of how can you put them in when all animals (even the semi-aquatic) start on land? Anyway, most of the animals you mentioned are on my list. A few exceptions include the grey crowned crane, shoebill, gelada baboon, and fishing cat. It's really nerve-wracking about when they'll announce a new DLC. Sure, there's the next bundle but I mentioned before, I want the last pack to end with a bang, something with we haven't seen before with more animals than what we usually get, and it scares me if that's not going to happen.
why do people always forget that we lack one of the big 5 of africa? The african leopard is no way as requested as it should, I won't fing africa completed with a long neck impala, I need the leopard. Dunno man, just feels correct.
I want some free turtles like sliders, snapping turtles, and others for the botanical gardens. More exhibit animals like insects. Nile crocodile. Some fish exhibit some more birds that'd it for me
I didn't include Europe as I think the Eurasia Animal Pack rounded out a good portion of European animals, and at the top of the meta wishlist there aren't too many European animals
If I had to pick one, I'd probably go Spider Monkey as they are just so versatile and common in captivity, they have to come to the game whether in this one or the sequel
I want it to end. We have better mods than dlc's these days. And without the new dlc's we don't have to update mods. I'm actually waiting for planet zoo to end so I can play with mods again without fearing it corrupting my park.
