    Given that Frontier made the Camp Cretaceous species, variants and skins into their own DLC instead of putting them into base game of Evolution 2, I can see them doing the same for Chaos Theory and making all of the species, variants and skins that appear in that show into their own DLC as well, it’s just smarter from a marketing stand point, like when they cut up the Dominion DLC into the Biosyn and Malta Expansions.

    I feel given the introduction of the Megalodon in the final Evolution 2 DLC and the gradually improvement of lagoons overall, the two big new features will be Cenozoic Creatures and new semi aquatic options for amphibious and swimming species.

      They do seem the most likely, I do feel breeding and baby dinosaurs is still a possibility, but only if they do as I suggested and only do it for franchise species and the new species added in the game, and then gradually add infant and juvenile, as well as the male and female models of the other species in the following updates.

    14:00 If Frontier were to add Megaloceros to JWE3, they would need to add two variants: One with antlers (the male) and one without antlers (the female).

  • @flightlesslord2688
    @flightlesslord2688 2 месяца назад

    I think they should add the 122 species incrementaly after the release of the base game for free, which allows more development focus on the breeding and baby mechanics, with maybe even just cannon species added at base, with a handful of new species. I'd be willing to make that trade for more new mechanics and complexity.
    In turn, I'm actually hoping that Cenozoic animals don't count as a new feature, as they're just a different group of animals, like the fish and synapsids we have in JWE2 now. So I'm hoping they're not counting that, as I'm hoping making the lagoons more complex, namely by adding semi-aquatics/marine-terrestrial-flyer interactions, is the other big feature alongside breeding. Freshwater lagoons, with more customizable edges would be brilliant for instance.
    A smaller feature I really want is either 'decorative' or mini-enclosure style habitats for small animals, like aquariums, insect houses, tiny dinosaur specific enclosures etc. One way it could work is if they made large decorations and ammenities interchangable with a bunch of different types of building, which then could be customised further, like how the ammenities work in JWE2 but with far more visual differences. Ideally, the creatures within these exhibits would be as alive as our enclosure animals, but I'd absolutely accept if they worked like the pteranodon in the first game, or the microraptors in Prehistoric Kingdom. Saying that, I would like the option to put these creatures in the actual enclosures also (like say having compies in both a set building, as well as a seperate larger enclosure), and them being able to break out of the small enclosures also. Now this is probably a stretch, but if you think about it, having creatures go from set animations in a small building, to dynamic movement in an open enclosure is already in the game in the form of the hatchery exit animations. So its probably doable, again highly unlikely, and getting more towards 'big feature'. But I'm hoping that the basic idea of improving the customisability of buildings, and combining that with a better way to house smaller creatures would fall more under innovation. Same with walking pterosaurs, and better combat, especially with hadrosaurs and sauropods. Fingers crossed.

    If we do get more semi aquatics options in Evolution 3, I can see Frontier pulling a Zoo Tycoon 2 and making so only certain land species can swim in deep water, which I think is fair and something they can always gradually improve with updates down the line.

    The reason i think it's likely that we could get cenozoic animals in Jurassic world evolution 3 is because it would a verry unique addition that could be a very good selling point that would be able to attract hesitant owners of Jurassic world evolution 2 by having a completely brand new feature that is completely absent from the first and second game.
    I mean yea baby dinosaurs are cool but im not sure if that would be enough to win over a lot of owners if JWE2 just with that alone.

    I know it's an unpopular topic, and it's a tad bit ambitious, but might I recommend something a little more creative? Sure, we want new terrain, more guest interaction, new things.. but hear me out: There's always a Hybrid Pack, and the species included are always cool, but never our own. So, why don't we have a custom hybrid maker? Similar to the species viewer, and lile the Lego Jurassic game, we can basically make custom hybrids. Want a T-Rex with Indominus Rex genes and Stegosaurus Spikes? You're able to do it. Want a more combat-ready herbivore? Make a hybrid between Ankylosaurus and Triceratops! Customize the vocals so it feels unique, and choose between 3 types of skins or paint your own!
